From what I have witnessed the attacks are equally distributed.

Fundy Christians attack and ridicule non Christians so what do they expect? to be beloved and welcomed by those they insult?
Gal 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
PS. see? Christian egotists who imagine that being rude is holy are also admonished by the Bible. sit there quoting self aggrandizing scripture while they ignore that which might reign in their overweening pride.

Maybe (and this is only my humble opinion) because there are a lot of young people on here. Once you get to a certain age, some people get more mature in their beliefs.
Young people tend to be not as serious as mature people.

because they are so dead inside that they have to attack others to prove to themselves that they are alive.

because people are hypocrits. The only people that hang around this thread anymore are Christian like myself, and atheists. We Christians preach peace, and atheists say that everyone who believes in religion is violent and they are the only ones that live and let live. Neither of us practice what we preach so we argue, and argue, and argue.

Theists, especially christians, try to control and restrict us based on their views. If all christians stop crusading against science, culture, art, sex and sexuality, religious freedom and such, and stop telling everybody else they're going to be tortured throughout eternity unless they join you, I assure you that you won't encounter nearly as much hostility.
Just reading the replies so far demonstrates my point.

Because they attack everyone else. Most other religions don't like posting on here because all they get is nasty preaching replies from the Christians. And the last I looked, this is a religion and spirituality board, not a Christian board but the Christians can't get it through their thick skulls that their replies of "If you believe that, you're going to go to hell. You need to find god" are not welcome.
