Isaiah 55:8......"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than YOUR ways, and my thoughts than YOUR thoughts.
Sometimes we try to find answers that take us away from learning the truth, the truth about why we are here.

Why does God need to put life on all the other planets? And who is to say there is not life on other planets. There are many things God chooses not to tell us. Maybe he didn't tell us about the aliens he created.

That's like, "Why would God create so many variety of flowers when one kind would do?"
For variation - beauty. To show his power. To make creation obvious. If evolution is the correct theory, then why only on this planet?

The universe, for lack of a better term, includes billions of stars like our sun with untold billions of planets orbiting them. I cannot believe Earth is the only planet that harbors life.

Man is so arrogant and ego-centric, even without religion he thinks the universe should revolve around him.

Since only life begets life, it's reasonable to believe that life on earth came from elsewhere.

The diversity of God's creations knows no bounds, so it's likely that life exists elsewhere.

Good question up there: What is life? Who gets to define it?

god is pretty much unassailable...any questioning easily falls into pits of circular argument, the simplest maybe being god is omnipotent and anything we can deduce/question about him is but a tiny meaningless fragment of an infinite whole we have absolutely no way of even beginning to comprehend with our limited perception. this can all be circumvented, of course, if you base your thoughts/beliefs/etc on reality and proven scientific knowledge, or even what you can see in front of your eyes as opposed to what someone in some remote institution (probably making tons of $$$ and/or fondling altar boys) wants you to believe. so yeah god created a ton of planets and only one with life so you'd ask this question and indirectly call into question his omnipotence and probably damn yourself to an eternity in hell.

I like that expression...I use it whenever alien life forms becomes the discussion. It is what that lifeform is that may be the better question.
