i have ocd and im afraid if i dont touch things two times someone in my family will get cancer or something-people who are religious are afraid if they dont do things for jesus theyll go to hell-the only difference is ocd is a disease in the brain so i have an excuse to believe ridiculous things religious people are just ridiculous

whenver i tell a person about jesus' miracles, they dont believe it, because tehre is no proof, it just people making up stuff about him and writing it down. if thats the case, then how do we know jesus even existed? im catholic btw so im a believer.

my grandad died yeaturday. he was like a fathyer to me since my dad died when i was 16. he was the only person who never judged me by my mistakes, only by what i did right and well. he paid for me to go to college at the age of 21 so that i could sort out my life. he was the only person to truly believe in me. i want to read a poem at the funeral but i have no idea where to find one. also i need tips on staying calm enough to actually get the words out. please help me! thank you x

I'm a Christian. I'm not necessarily anti these things (especially divorce and homosexuality as they are things you can't change)and I want to know what the bible tells me about it.

I am going cold turkey and quitting all drugs but it makes me very uncomfortable. A missionary came by and sold me this litle bible and told me to pray on it and the cravings wilt cease in a day or so. I am sweating bullets and the missionary didn't come back. Did he just want my money and sex?

I am in the middle of buying an old mosque, and I'm intending to do it up a bit. I've got it at a knock down price, as the previous occupants left it in a hell of a mess.

I'm half thinking of turning it into a modern nightspot/nightclub - do you think a good name for an ex-mosque that is now a nightclub, would be 'The Mosque'?

I had a dream that i was being chased by a man and ran into an old cave and in it was a huge angel, i mean really tall, and he covered me with his wings and protected me. I woke up and opened my bible and read about nephilims, i searched the definition on the internet and all answers point to a half angel half human entity that is a giant that looks like a human but has wings. And then the semi-educated abd mostly hateful mullahs prescribe the norms of social behaviour- never ever giving the followers a chance to rebut them. Any comments?
