i have ocd and im afraid if i dont touch things two times someone in my family will get cancer or something-people who are religious are afraid if they dont do things for jesus theyll go to hell-the only difference is ocd is a disease in the brain so i have an excuse to believe ridiculous things religious people are just ridiculous

Are you speaking of someone who is religious or just Christians. There are other religions that are not as rigid because they are not from the teachings of Abraham.

Jesus came and fulfilled the law that was given to Moses back in the book of Exodus. Thus being sd, we were given a New Testament and dnt live under the law anymore,but under grace(grace is simply-God giving us what we have not earned-heaven)therefore we only have 2 New Test. laws....Love thy Lord thy God, and love thy neighbor......we do not get to heaven by works,but by the shed blood and perfect blood of Jesus Christ.
so no i am not going to heaven bcuz of anything i have done for Jesus, but by accepting what He has done for me and believing in the death,burial,and resurrection of Jesus Christ.....He is still alive and accepts anyone who will come to Him, no matter where u r in life......God is so good and not willing that anyone should perish.....but you hv to make the choice....He already did His part and is just waiting for those who are lost to recognize it- and ask Him to save them

We don't have to do things a certain amount of times for God. We will see who is ridiculous come judgment day.

No, you don't have to do a thing for Jesus. Just accept the gift of salvation. You don't HAVE to do another thing.
