First off, there is no denying that there is an element of racism to the idea of non-proliferation. Apparently, only white people and chinese can have nukes.
Of course Iran signed the treaty in return for the technology. So that does present a wrinkle. I don't think they are as radical or as nutty as they are portrayed to be.
PS Neither Iraq nor Iran was involved in 9-11. So let's stop using that as justification for war.

You're forgetting that some of Iraq's WMD's WERE found. And many more were spirited away to Syria. But Iran need only worry if they make no move to stop the terrorists under their roof. There is NO reason you can give for us to drop our guard as long as there are madmen around threatening the LIVES of innocent civilians everywhere simply because of their religious fervor.
