I ask this because I attended Church twice a week and studied the Holy Bible for eleven years from the age of five until I was sixteen when I became an Atheist. As I look back on my life as a Christian, I feel I was an Atheist all the time I attended Church. Even though I was baptized, supposidly born again and saved at the age of five.

The purpose of breast nipples (mammary glands) is to suckle young with enough nutrients for its survival until its old enough to eat food. Men DON'T BREAST FEED, so why would god give us men something that cannot fulfill its purpose?

To me Matthew 25:40 was such a profound lesson that Jesus taught. It was at that moment I realized that it didn't always have to be about me. It wasn't about letting everybody know what big shot I was. It was quite literally "what you do to the least of these... I would love for you to share your thoughts and and your experiences of both giving and receiving

Genesis 5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building. 6 The LORD said, "If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other."

Not only the devil, but also everybody who turns away from his teachings. If he already knows (a big IF) what we are all destined to be, why is all this necessary?

Dont you Christians know that you can't mock something you dont even understand?

Nothing in my whole life has meant so much to me as my children do. But I know some atheists are ambivalent about having children on the grounds that it seems pointless creating a life that simply has to struggle hard for eighty-odd years to survive before the inevitability of death and oblivion. If I ever felt like this, I don't now, obviously. But do other atheists have views about this?

And of course, the address in the title line isn't meant to exclude anyone (though I'd prefer respectful answers). Presumptions of ownership are horrible.

I saw this question earlier that made reference to an "atheist agenda."

When I last visited the UK I learned about a demonstration which took place last year in which Muslims were demonstrating quite forcefully with banners and chanting, "Kill the infidels" I am a Muslim convert and from everything I have read Islam promotes Peace and goodwill to all. What the hell is going on?

God knew that Lucifer, also known as Satan, would be the origin of human destruction. He knew Lucifer would lure Adam and Eve into temptation, and thus would lead to the Fall of Man. Ultimately, because man is then born into sin, Lucifer is the source of human destruction.

God loves His children. But why did He make possible the suffering of His children in Hell by creating Lucifer in the first place? God created Lucifer knowing that Lucifer would elicit great torment for God's children.

Would you say for the sake of human free choice? So why create free choice? If humans had not known free choice existed, there would be no knowledge of such a thing.

Could it have been a premonition of some sort about Bill Gates? Was it misinterpreted and was really "the geek shall inherit the earth"?

I am an Atheist and I believe that religion is a very good thing for mankind. I think that many people need guidance that religions provide along with faith and a purpose. I am just thankful that I live in a country where I can choose what I want to believe in and what I don't want to believe in. So my question is whether you believe religion is a good thing or not?

What would they do? How many of you would deign to answer this quesion?
The fact is, all three are atheists, and one admits it. The other two are de facto atheists, meaning when everything is normal and no one is challenging them, they subconscioulsy recognize that there is no God, only imaginary ones (and that's not bad, cause imaginary Gods are good, each in his own way).

As to my question, would you agree that all three would likely behave in a normal manner inside the elevator, depending on the personality of each one?

Why christians are so angry with atheists?
Maybe because deeply inside them are feeling ashamed for their foolish beliefs; And why they like to say verses about torture and punishment? Do they need help from a good psychiatrist or what?
