Could it have been a premonition of some sort about Bill Gates? Was it misinterpreted and was really "the geek shall inherit the earth"?

Then, “the meek ones themselves will possess the earth.” (Psalm 37:11a) But who are these “meek ones”? The word translated “meek” comes from a root word meaning “afflict, humble, humiliate.” Yes, “the meek ones” are those who humbly wait on Jehovah to right all the injustices inflicted upon them. “They will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.” (Psalm 37:11b) Even now we find an abundance of peace in the spiritual paradise associated with the true Christian congregation.

Christ says that the meek will inherit the earth. Are the meek Christians going to have a different reward from the "poor in spirit" Christians? Is this a contradiction? Of course not! The "meek" and the "poor in spirit"—in other words, humble Christians—shall inherit the earth for an everlasting possession, and shall enter the "Kingdom of [owned by] heaven" which will be set up on earth! That Kingdom is the divine, ruling government of God which Christ will establish on earth at His return (Revelation 5:10).

I'm not sure whether you're after a serious answer or one just as frivolous as your question, but I would give you my opinion in the matter, where the largely anticipated scenario of the end days is concerned. I would say that this is the only one saying issuing from the lips of Jesus that I could find, verifying the theory of a one thousand-year reign of Jesus Christ on earth, and which is a debated epoch as to whether it would be a pre-tribulational or post-tribulational one, according to various millennialist views, none of which I personally uphold.
Review milliennialist theology and relevant Biblical references.

No, Jehovah likes wimps. They're easily dominated.

That way, when he and the elder gods arrive to corral you into the feeding ships, you won't put up a fight. Sure, I'll be dead. And the others like me will be dead. The meek will inherit the earth for all of about 6.4 seconds before the interplanetary freighter New Jerusalem Alpha arrives to process them for blood sausage and soylent green.

Tasty.

Meek and poor in spirit. See, if you read carefully and add up everything Christ preached through his words, he does not want us to strive for happiness all the time nor be persistent in being sad, but instead be modest or prudent. For happiness leads to greed, lust and other unrighteous things, and sadness leads us to destruction over construction, debation over cultivation.
But for those who are naturally suffering and sad (or poor in spirit) God will always and stilll correct them, as long as they keep faith with him and not stray, for if they are persistent and never faint then the perfect day shall come.

It means that you are not a Christian. It also means that you think that "money" is the most important thing in "your" life. When you get older, you will realize what "is" important.

No use tampering with the word of God.
It is: the Greek shall inherit the wart!

You are welcome
