Why would anyone assume just because I, or someone else disagrees with them that it's hate? I see that a lot here, and though I DO see a lot of hateful things, I dont think disagreeing means hate by default. I love a few people with all my heart, yet I dont agree with everything they do or think. That doesnt get in the way of me loving them. No one agrees with me on everything, but I know it isnt hate.
The most popular "hate" argument is that many Christians don't agree with homosexuality. Well fine, why does anyone have to? Does it mean they have to hate them then? Yes, some Christians HATE Homosexuals, and so do some from other religions and Atheists as well. But why assume that disagreeing means hate in that regard? Doesn't that burn any bridges to understanding either side?
My best friend in the whole world is gay, and I dont agree with his lifestyle but I would happily take a bullet for him. Do you think I hate him?
