I remembered being taught when I was young and even now to stay away from the use of religious symbols or items as this may lead to some form of idol worship that could compromise the belief of the one true God. And yet despite Muslims being taught that, surprisingly the crescent moon and star is being accepted as the symbol of Islam.

What I'll say is true, and I don't mean any disrespect. The crescent moon which is used by muslims was used to be a symble for the Arabian God of Moon, but some how it got into islam.

Actually that originated when Muslims raided countries and found the cross as the symbol of Christians, so they wanted to have one of their own, therefore they chose the crescent. I think they did so because of the importance of the crescent, don't forget that it is how we know that Ramadan is starting, so maybe they thought of it like that..it is a possibility that a Monafiq in Islam suggested it to be they symbol..so anyway.. it spread ever since..
( there are many possibilities of why it was chosen)
anyway in Islam it has no significance whatsoever..

It's merely a symbol made famous largely by the Ottomans. It has no religious significance whatsoever.

1. You're an imposter.

The moon and crescent is still widely used because it was a symbol, the flag of the Ottoman Empire, which was one of the largest Islamic empires.

Jews do no longer say Ezra is the son of God. Judaism is a monotheistic faith. Zorostrianism is monotheistic too, i think of. To be uncomplicated, it quite is all nonsense, so what does or no longer it quite is counted?

Its interesting that the moon is out usually at night, or in the dark. Could this also represent a dark religion?
