Too much fake, not enough real, and no-one wants to do anything about it. The church folks are afraid, thinking "Don't touch 'the LORD's annointed' "-- a reference to King David's words about King Saul. What preachers, these days, were ordained by a PROVEN prophet of GOD instead of deciding, themselves, (even if "prayerfully"), to enter the ministry? Think, all Israel knew that Samuel's words didn't "fall to the ground" & that whatever he said actually came true. GOD even told the people to not fear prophets who prophesied and it didn't come true, since such a prophet was not sent by HIM. The new testament(NT) teaches to discern whether an utterance is from GOD or not. This seems to rarely be done in modern churches. Also, other things modern churches decline to do that are taught in the NT, but too many are ignoring these as they find them difficult or inconvenient and prefer to fuss about things not even taught. They argue over manmade doctrines & imagined intent.

There are more stars in the sky(70,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 approximately), there are more stars in the sky than there are grains of sand in every beach in the world. Its mind blowing. How can someone try and fathom this, how can anyone seriously think that these stars just appeared without a Creator? Scripture says that God spread out these stars across the sky with His hand. Isnt our God an awesome God? To deny God is to be a fool.

Is the choice to believe merely the result of being trained to do so? If you are a believer, what would happen if you chose not to believe? Would you fear punishment? Would you feel cursed and abandoned? Are you brave enough to throw off the shackles and stand up for what you really believe?

Approximately 35% of Americans believe the bible is the literal and inerrant word of God. Most of these people also date the Big Bang 2500 years AFTER the Babylonians learned how to brew beer. Now, don't get me wrong, these are generally good, honest, hard-working people - your neighbors and mine. But pretending to enjoy rationality alongside the psychological consolation of self-deception is hurting mankind's advancement, if not the planet's. Moderate voices should speak up. Or am I wrong?

Also: why do animals suffer? What is the meaning behind the suffering of animals, why didn't God make everything else completely non-sentient if all they are here for is for our consumption and entertainment? What real purpose does everything on earth serve if it has a "life" of it's own and can think and feel?
If everything on earth is to serve man, isn't that the most egotistical and self-absorbed mindset?
Why would anyone care to be a "good steward" if the earth is all going to die when we go anyway? And is that just wishful thinking?

Koran 9:73 and 9:123 commands the faithful to make war on the unbelievers. In Deuteronomy 13:6, God orders his followers to murder without pity any neighbor, friend or family member who questions his authority. In John 15:6, Jesus suggests that the faithless deserve incineration. How does one get around these passages?

If God made all the bad things in this world, he must be emo.

If God is emo, he has low self-esteem and doesn't believe in himself.

So God is atheist, because he doesn't believe in God (himself).

Referring to the following predictions:
The sun and moon will darken, the stars will fall from the sky, the powers of the heavens will be shaken, the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, the tribes of the earth will mourn, they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven, and he will send his angels to gather his elect from the four winds.

Why did he say, referring to the above predictions, "this generation will not pass, till all these things be fulfilled."? (See Matthew 24:29-34, also Mark 9:1 and Matthew 23:36)

Hundreds of generations have come and gone; the predictions remain unfulfilled.

Throughout the millenia? IF Jesus is so damn real, why did it take so long for you Christians to stop slaughtering and torturing people for the dumbest of offenses?
Why couldn't Jesus' words of peace and love save hundreds of thousands of people from the brutality of his so called "followers"?
