That is not true Muslim men can marry non Muslim women if they want to convert to Islam.As we believe children follow the faith of the father it makes no sense for us Muslim women to marry non Muslim men,and why would we want to.

You are using the wrong verse, the Sura mentioned marriage with non Muslims is Al-Maeda no 5 verse 5 state that Muslim men are allowed to marry Christian and Jew women. But it did not say Muslim women can do the same. In that case you can't work your brain and try to Create something which Allah did not allow. How would the Muslim woman inherit her non Muslim husband or any of her non Muslim children when they die? how could she cook pork for her husband and serve wine for him? How could she ask for divorce if Christianity doesn't allow that? better in that case she convert to her husbands religion while this is against the main essence of Islam

I really wonder why do you guys even try to answer these kinda questions when you have no idea about it. If you really want to, at least show some respect.
Allah Almighty allows muslim men to marry non muslim women, yes it is true. A muslim men is allowed to marry women from people of book (Christian), without her converting. That is because during Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) his followers married women from chritianity to show a unity among them. As you know Jesus (PBUH) is regarded as a prophet in Islam. All true muslims will have to believe in him.
As for other religion, Muslim men are not allowed to marry a women (for example From hiduism) unless she converts to muslim.
Muslim women are not allowed to marry non muslim men solely for 1 reason. They would be asked to changed religion by their husband. And their children would have to follow their dad's religion.

Because this is an Allah who is being two-faced, capricious, and sexist--or can we chalk this interpretation of the Koran up to the "interpretations" of mortal men--so this way they get all the earthly rights and advantages and can then turn around and deny women without end the same privileges or rights at all?
I don't believe that anybody's God, including Allah, is really that mean spirited, that oppressive toward anyone who truly believes in Him....or Her.

I believe that tradition exists because of the belief that a husband's faith will control the relationship. Muslims believe marrying their daughters to non-Muslims will result in a conversion.
