He said that he who loses his life for Him will save it, well how do I lose my life?

My Question, song, sense of humor was deleted, I keep forgeting how sensitive people are on here. It must of been the head line..... even though I know not nothing truly wrong with it, compare to the brutal fighting I see, things that were said that should of been deleted.
Although there is those that are full of hate that go around and you know, I really don't want to go there, why can't people be understanding, lighting up with a sense of humor. enjoy question and answers, if it becomes to much for me, I'll just move on, but as stubburn as I am, I just take it, like I've done all my life, it makes me stronger.
So if I truly hurt feelings, it wasn't intended.... so I am sorry!

i am a bahai
and i want to ask some thing from all the people who dont agree with the religion and say mean things about it.
did u ppl know that nearly 100,000 bahais r killed a year, and the ppl who kill them always tell them if u convert we willl give u this and that but if u stay a bahai we will kill u, or kill ur children, or kill ur husband or wife in front of u.. and did u know ppl did not care and still stayed a bahai, if the religion was not true then ppl would not b ready to die for it and did u know some thing else, in egypt there is a new rule, if ur a bahai they wont give u an ID, that means u cant go to skool, u cant go to univercity and if police catches u , u go to jail, do u think thats fair, but ppl still dont care and stay what the r!!! how can u ppl have the heart to say such a thing.

his presence and his writings r one of his miracles, many ppl tried to act like a profit, but they were not successful because no one could go through the pain he went through, and no one in the whole world could write like him.
believe me if u r an open minded person and if u read his writings u will convert immediately, because its amazing, beautiful and 100% true. what ever he said in his books happened and will continue happening.

one of the examples is the equality of men and women. there is no other religion which says that.but ppl r following it with out knowing its profit Baha'ullah who brought it up.

one thing else, ppl might tell u allot of things, but u should not always believe them, u should always investigate for the truth because not all ppl r truthful, remember this it will always help u in life

why do you find acceptable the excuse "dont say/show this or that over here because there may be children reading"???
Is that because you leave your children unattended in fron of the computer and give them the opportunity to look for anything they want on the internet???
Dont you sit with them to explain what they see and control that they dont see something unsuitable????
(You can be certain that if you leave your children alone in front of the computer they won´t be in THIS site)

If Old testament is the "old covenant" than why are certain things chosen as 'still sins' while others are not? How do you know which laws and sins to pick and choose from?
How do you know which books not to take seriously, or literally, or practice them?
So if the OT says that one thing is wrong, then why don't we have to abide by when God tells us exactly when it's ok to have sex around the week of menstuation??

Religious stories like CREATION and the medieval description of a geocentric universe with stars affixed to the outer shell beyond which heaven lies; these are 2 obvious examples. But people place thier faith in the outcome of a future event or a person's endeavors - neither of which have known outcomes. So does faith fill in the empty spaces left by a lack of knowledge?

Today has been "Why do these pesky atheists come to R&S?" day by the looks of things, but personally I've been missing the daily Pascal's Wager question. So I've been working up to my own (these are all Y!A links below):

If you think it's taking a chance NOT to believe, because if you're wrong the consequences are terrible, whereas if you believe and you're wrong, you're just obliviated - shouldn't the greatest risk be in getting it wrong, and worshipping the wrong god? Wouldn't the real god punish them more than those of us who don't believe in any god at all?

What I'm asking is - doesn't Pascal's Wager lead logically to non-belief? If you REALLY don't want to take any chances with the afterlife - shouldn't you be an atheist?

Evil is the word "live" spelled backward. It is anything that
keeps us from living and enjoying life. Even if it's just a
negative way of thinking.
Stop playing Evil's game, with the blaming and excuses.
And do something positive.
The nicest thing you can do for yourself, is to do something nice for somebody else. Makes you feel like a
human being.

Can you explain OBJECTIVELY how your religion is more true than any another, and how the stories relating to your religion differ from a myth or a fable? If you answer "because mine is true" or anything lame like that, there must be no difference between your religion and other cults/myths/fables, because that is not objective and would be just as good of an answer for any other belief.

I've heard of Jehovah's witnesses before, but is it a part of another religion, like Christianity or Judaism? What are the beliefs of a Jehovah's witness?
I'm Jewish, and I know that Jehovah is how you spell God's name in Hebrew. And a witness-does it literally mean a Jehovah's witness witnesses God?
