So who wants to talk about Rahner's transcendental Thomism?

Sure, although I'm no expert. As I understand it, Rahner felt we all have (and realize we have) a limitation in not just what we know but what we can possibly know. The realization that god lies on the other side of that boundary is the transcendence which you refer to.
