What about earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, the deadly uranium fields of Siberia, killer volcanos, crippling diseases and Kansas ?

Are they all testaments to the "wonder of god's creation" too.

If they are he screwed up big time !

At the end of the day, all a beautiful tree proves is that there is a beautiful tree.... no more, no less.

Remember, this is a hypothetical question and is in no way a theological statement.

Where would Jesus go? Would he go and protest abortion clinics? Would he preach at mega-churches? Would he attend football games? What about Chrstian Confrences? Would he go to bars/nightclubs? Where do you think Jesus would go and where would he not go?

Please remember, this question is to be fun and mentally/spiritually stimulating. No need to throw out your views on eschatology, this is just a hypothetical of if He came down for just a quick visit. Where would Jesus Go?

I heard it said spare the rod spoil the child and many christians beleive in spanking and hitting and being forceful with children like har pulling and pushing your child against the wall. I am against CP which is corporal punishment because I have been damaged by it and hurt as a child because of this. In my home the belt was used and so was the wooden spoon and my folks called this "correction" no we were not hit every day but when the folks felt we were disprectful or mishbehaved we got disciplined. I have to say in all honesty and thruthfulness that in many ways I am gald I do not live at home anymore so I dont have to deal with difficult people. I have forgiven my parents because that is what the Lord would want me to do, but if I had children I would do this much different. My question is are there other ways to correct children other than hitting or spanking? Thank you for your answers and God bless you.

Some say they receive violations but at the same time I see some really trashy questions that should have gotten violations. What's going on? As long as we keep the quality of this service up it will continue in good stead.

I have read may questions about political correctness and Christmas being called a "Winter Festival" and lights not called Christmas lights but "Winter Lights" so as not to upset other religious dinominations. Do these other dinominations like Muslims, Jews , Sikhs buy their children CHRISTMAS presents ?

On the same day as the results of a new study were released, showing that 95% of Americans engage in premarital sexual relations, a phenomenon that has remained unchanged since the 1950s (see http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061220/ap_on_re_us/premarital_sex_6), the vatican issues yet another ridiculous press release regarding abstinence (see http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061220/ap_on_he_me/vatican_aids_1).

Why does the pope refuse to acknowledge that condoms exist? What is the basis for this insane position? Why would anyone listen to him?

how does it change anything? None of us were here, so none of us will ever truly know, and what effect does it really have on our lives today? WE ARE ALREADY HERE--monkeys learning, playdoh people--it's all just theories in the end because until we develop time travel or a retrocognitive television system, we will never truly know--why can't we just accept that and move on ?
