prayer is useful for anything that abides by god's will: which is this.
Love, blessings, peace, self control, happiness, THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART (psalms), salvation, joy.
Many of those are the fruit of the spirit, considering the holy spirit is God. Yes, it can.
Basically you can pray for anything good to God and he will answer (in his due time!)... if you pray faithfully and don't quit.

I don't think prayers are useful in general, but if prayers were useful, then they'd be just as good on someone who cursed at you. You might even want to pray more for them. And extra hard for me.

A prayer is only useful to people who believe that it will really help them. If you have to ask the question then it probably wont work.

Everyone believes in a God of some form or another; or in a Power greater than themselves at least it is ingrained in our basic genetic makeup. So I would have to say yes; it may not help the person that cursed at you but it can only make you stronger in your personal beliefs.

Yes. You should 'pray for those who curse you and spitefully use you'
If you honestly pray for someone, every day, the problem is usually gone within two weeks.

prayers are for your own good as much as others, even if they curse, or do not believe in God, pray any ways, God is listening.

I would think so. If you can with purity of heart, bring into your mind the highest experience of love you have experienced, visualize your enemy and kiss them on the cheek, then pray that your enemy may experience the love of God within their heart that you have found within your heart. Unconditional love is the most potent force in the world. It is God himself. I speak from my own experience ,this works.
