There are indeed gay Christians. The liberal side of the Anglican church is accepting of homosexuality.

Roman Catholics are the only Christian denomination which denounces everything but sweeps it all under the rug anyways, and the only ones who exile ppl from the church who do not conform. There are 2 or 3 others that come very close to these same practices...but no cigar.
I am really tired of so many lumping all of us Christians into one category...all are VERY different, but still Christian. Pick a denomination and then ask ur question.

If the church you attend tells you to leave just because you're gay, then that church wouldn't be the best place to join. no one is perfect, and they or no one else has the right to judge. I see no reason for you to not convert to Christianity if it's something you want to do. God loves all of us, and that includes Gays. the church you join should embrace you, and welcome you in, regardless of your sexual preference. I hope you find a wonderful church to join, and are able to learn about the good Lord, with true Christians. God Bless!!

Anyone can convert to Christianity.
The Bible never depicted Jesus as being prejudiced against anyone. He said 'come unto me' not 'get away from me.'
While the pharisees were passing judgement on the people, it was Jesus who stood up for them. He said to the men who dragged Mary Magdalene to be stoned to death for adultery "If any of you is without sin, cast the first stone." Not one of them dared to kill her!
Why would you think you deserve lesser treatment? I can asure you that no Christian church can do so and still be recognized as Christian. They are NOT permitted to shun you but rather, to embrace you and help you in whatever ways necessary to deal with your transition.

Depends upon the denomination. There are gay Christians in almost every Christian denomination, though some feel compelled to keep this fact secret while others are openly encouraged to be themselves.

Jesus would accept you. The gay rules are all in the Old Testament and Jesus made new rules. He never mentioned gay but he did say we shouldn't judge others, we should love and accept everyone.

There are some non-fundamentalist protestant churches that do not condemn gay sex and some that even minister to gays. It depends on where you live. Tolerant national churches will have intolerant congregations and intolerant national churches will have tolerant congregations (although less so). Ask your friends.

Many righteous hypocrites will reject you and others will pretend to accept you. For example the Catholic church states that they accept gays and lesbians JUST as long as they remain celibate (I mean come on, that's a candy coated rejection)
You could try the Anglican and Episcopal church, they have ordained gays and lesbians (although some US Episcopal churches have broken away in opposition).
