I believe the bible is false because it contradicts itself....since incest is a sin then when adam and eve had children then their children had to have sex with each other and so on....so thats y evolution is makes more sense to me and thats y the bible is false...and another thing is all the stories about jesus is just crazy...how do we know that jesus is the son of god joseph didnt write in the bible that he saw an angel that told him jesus was the son of god someone else did and how would he know that happen...and so on

there are a few steps to follow though, but here's basicly how it can go:

create your religion's name (this one might be hard because of all the different already COPYRIGHTED names of denominations that are already out there) find a topic you feel strongly for/against (let's take in for example, the legalization of marijuana. thankfully the homework for this was already dug up on this http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AhvnhYjPQNd7zvCJfDNkuNzsy6IX?qid=1006052323183 thank you dark philosopher...) then you gather a few friends that agree with you, & meet regularly, & lay out more plans on how your church should be ran (this isn't as hard as it sounds, history has already been proved that you can have a completely different sect, but only 1 disagreement with another sect.) now comes the hard part, LEGAL WORK....

the last day before he was caught why did jesus pray to take away the sufferings tha hes gonna have if father wished?he knew he came to earth for dying on cross.once he had even rebuked peterfor telling he wont allow jesus to die.so if jesus was so prepared to die and if thats y he came to earth,y in the last moment he prayed to avoid the suffering

Well im not very much of a religious person, but I do believe in God truly and believe Christ as being the savior. But don't like listening to other priests spitting out there side of the story of the bible. Just wanted to know what you guys think of this, aithiest or not.

I asked a question about what people think will happen after they die. Most of the answers I got where nothing about the question I asked. I didn't ask if you were afraid of death. I asked what you thought would happen after you died. I wasn't converting anyone to christianity. I was just wondering what people who don't believe in christ think will happen when they die. Not their testamony on why they think I should not be a christian, or why they deserve not to believe in God.

I see alot of angry christians, and alot of angry unbelievers out there.
Here is a question posed to unbelievers... what will happen to you when you die? I am really curious. I had my ideas about it when I was an unbeliever, but in all actuality I was truely afraid of death. Now I am not.

Unebleliever = Someone who does not believe in Christ.

Since this site is to talk about religion, and I am I Christian and proud of it, why do you get on here in the first place? Expecially bag other people and their beliefs. If you do not like it, then get on another site, simple? Some questions are from Christians who want opinions from mainly other Christian brothers or sisters, and you athiests who respond very rudley, they are not asking answers from you who do not know what thy know, they want genuine answers from genuine people, they are not asking for your two cents worth. If you do not believe in anything, they why are you on here in the first place? Shouldn't you be on another website instead?Stop bloody mocking other peoples faith, at lest they have some, and just because you have no faith. I am not saying all athiests are mockers, but the ones who do, get a life for crying out loud!!!!!!!!!!!!

If dont agree then answer the following questions..A person can tell you
1 what you are thinking,
2.in his empty hand through the power of his holybook appears what you ask him to do.e.g i asked him to bring some orange on his hand and he did that as magic for me
3.He can rotate a still fan by looking at it through power of his book
4.He can tell you any incident passed in your life which only you know by the power of his holy book.HOW?The only answer you can give is
but do tell me that how can i prove it to you here when i have seen these and many things like that with my eyes.
And there is no such modern technology there a beard person wearing just an undershirt and living in a house of one room made of mud can tell these things.It means that some thing like angels, ghosts and soul do exist about which he says that these things help him proving such miracles in front of people.
But this man doesnt have any thirst for money which is very much obvious to the visitors but he do this just to tell the power of his holy book(QURAN) and prove the existance of souls spirits etc.

How is that "free will" for the child? They don't have the intellectual capacity to make an informed decision on what they want their religion to be....and that should be a personal choice...

You can be a follower of any deity other then the faith on Jesus Christ the Lord of Lords and King of Kings who is going to come for sure….
How ever you would have been convinced by book or religious people but the truth is that "there is no way to Heaven other then Jesus Christ".

You can be a believer of non-existence of God and what ever intellectual theory can support your faith/belief but the truth is there is a life after death and the life you are going to face is 100% eternal and "Jesus Christ is the only way to achieve it" if your knowledge allows you to accept it.

Both the above believers can be professors, geniuses, orators, very intellectual persons……..

Now my question is what profit does your knowledge provide you if it could not let you save your soul?
