You can be a follower of any deity other then the faith on Jesus Christ the Lord of Lords and King of Kings who is going to come for sure….
How ever you would have been convinced by book or religious people but the truth is that "there is no way to Heaven other then Jesus Christ".

You can be a believer of non-existence of God and what ever intellectual theory can support your faith/belief but the truth is there is a life after death and the life you are going to face is 100% eternal and "Jesus Christ is the only way to achieve it" if your knowledge allows you to accept it.

Both the above believers can be professors, geniuses, orators, very intellectual persons……..

Now my question is what profit does your knowledge provide you if it could not let you save your soul?

We all know that all things here on earth are temporary and nothing is permanent, this knowledge, all the possesions you have material wealth or whatsoever, all things that is visible to human naked eyes will be lost and will not last. And all this things can not be brought to our grave yard. But if you have faith to our Lord God Jesus Christ a friend whatever you call will always be their that will never leave you nor forsake you once you have accepted Him as your personal Lord and saviour. For everyhting is in Him, the great provider and my comforter. Glory to God though I do not see Him I can feel Him and He fill up for my existence. And I can be proud of Him for he really adds up my life though tribulations may come and arise I will not stop praising Him for I long to see His glory in me.

For my Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

I don't know about you, but when I came to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, it was through the Holy Spirit leading me through the knowledge that I had to the place where He found me. It's a series of steps and you don't always know where another person is at in their spiritual journey. It's important to realize that the important thing is to determine where a person is at and assist them in moving one step closer to the truth and not to just say things that will potentially offend, turn off or otherwise make people run the other way! You have to be diplomatic, knowing the full truth and helping others to find that for themselves not sounding like you're beating them over the head with it. I'm just telling you this because a person who does not believe probably will not be listening to you as they read this post. But, maybe they will - it's not up to me of course.

And my response is this: There are many beliefs on this planet, and even many religious texts. If your God is the only one to believe, why is there no incontrovertable evidence that the Bible, and no other text, is the actual word of God?

If your God were to be the true one, shouldn't there be some evidence, other than the mouths of those who believe in him, that the Bible, and no other religious or spiritual path was right?

The problem is that there is ABSOLUTELY NO evidence to show that Christianity is correct to the exclusion of all other religions. Even within Christianity, there is no single denomination that isn't declared heretical by at least one other.

Given that, how can you substantiate your claim that ANYONE'S soul is in any peril whatsoever for believing as they do? What you are showing is simply that Christianity is simply a religion based on fear and threats. Listen to yourself... you're not saying "I have a God who loves me unconditionally". Rather, you are saying "Believe what I do, because if you don't, you'll go to hell". It just doesn't sound so inviting to me.

So....here's my conundrum regarding Christianity.... should I place my trust in a religion that is unproven and based on fear, or should I find my own path? I chose to find my own way.

We humans can't literally "save" ourselves but we can submit to the Savior. It's true that it won't profit anyone not to be an obedient child of God once He is invited into your heart but again works don't save a person. "Nothing in my hands I bring, simply to the Cross I cling." I do not have just head knowledge of Jesus but heart knowledge. "..You ask me how I know He lives, He lives within my heart." I believe 100% in eternity and heaven and hell. We must be born of the spirit. Some Christians are a dry birth or born cripple. Think on that a bit.

What profit does your faith have if you find out there is no God?

You are trying to use Pascal's wager. The problem with your line of thought is any religion can use it. Someone can say Ra or Zeus is the way. They can claim Vishnu or Allah is. This number of fictitious beings and no hard evidence to support them either shows the fallacy of your argument.

LET GOD BE TRUE AND SHOW THAT YOU KNOW HE IS

Philip.2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
John 17:3,5,24;
Jesus was with God before the world was. 8:58; Before Abraham. Jesus said," This is life eternal that they might know thee, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent," as he prayed to his Father in heaven on behalf of those he wanted to be one with him and his Father to be the heaven head of the whole church body.
We are in the end time, Satan Rev.12:3,4,6-11,12; is down for a short time to Rev.20:1-6,12,13 [ No Satan for 1000 years ];
Matt.24:3,7,14,15,22,34,36-38 [ Only God knows the day and the hour ];
Eph.2:7; 3:21; The world with Jesus is without end. John 3:16;

What you now need to ask is "HOW" does this knowledge save your soul for it is true that the more you "understand" the greater your vision! and consequently the better you see the endless path and infinite mountain before you. You can have "knowledge" of anything but understanding is the next key.

Do you understand Jesus and how he did what he did? For it is no secret to him.

Knowledge can only be useful to humans while they live their lives. If humans were beings with a sensory system no bigger than that of ants or even fish, their consciousness would match their sensory system. Like ants or fish, they would ask no questions about the universe and its laws, they would not even notice that they are on a planet, that there is a sun, that there are stars, that life exists, and that they exist.

Our consciousness is the product of having evolved such a wonderfully complex neuro-cerebral system capable of making us not just respond to sensations such as cold and hot, but to feel love, compassion, devotion, admiration, fear, deception, honesty, justice, and desire for knowledge. All these emotions, which the nervous system of higher animals permits them to experience to a much lesser degree, come from the ability of conceptualizing and imagination.

Knowledge is what allows us to live differently than animals. We do not survive by instincts, we survive because we can reason. Try to live by instincts and not by knowledge! You could not even do that if you wanted. Your highly developed consciousness would prohibit you to act irrationally, unless you wanted to die. To live by instinct means that you would not need to think in order to feed yourself. You would not need to rely on your memory of how to get dressed and go to work. It means you would automatically hunt for food and eat it as you find it, just like all animals do.

It is conceptual thought that allows us to imagine how life can be improved beyond the life of an animal, so that we make sure that our life is not merely spent searching for food and going to heaven. If heaven is truly the only and main purpose of living, and knowledge is useless, than the animals have already accomplished that level of consciousness. They are perfectly innocent, since they are exactly as they were "created". Do they all go to heaven when they die? As you say, wouldn't we better off just as they are, without knowledge, only instincts and then go to heaven?

You are right. There is no profit in having any amount of knowledge for going to heaven. A newborn who dies without learning anything will be assured to go to heaven, so what's the use of living at all? Why even get to know the Bible, or the life of Jesus? To know these things you still have to use knowledge, through reason and logic.

The way you reason can either be rational or irrational. Irrational reasoning does not create anything good in life. You can't improve living conditions, fight poverty, do a job well, earn a living, to say just a few of a million things we value, unless you use rationality. Irrational reasoning is in contradiction with life, with nature, with reality in general. It can only produce misery.

Those matters did not occur. Stop performing like an Evangelical and interpret literature (i.e., the legendary Hebraic texts) competently. Decent persons do not feel in a God like that, in view that it contradicts the theology that God is without end merciful. God does not experience soreness; persons do. And they task this onto God.
