Mostly people who either went to church and are disappointed in what they found, or people who are rebelling against their over barring parents? Seriously I want to know so don't be jerks and give me a bunch of sarcaism be real if you know how. I don't have religion so keep your religious comments to your self!

when debating christianity vs. skepticism/atheism
it is noticably more common for a christian to be a little more on the impolite side than for skeptics.
Sure, every once in a while i might see a skeptic get a little harsh but christians get uppity way more often
I have heard a lot of over the line stuff from christians even though the question might have been in earnest and sincere.
I just don't see skeptics personally attack christians like some christians do.
sure, from time to time, an atheist might call christians stupid or retarded on this board, but i see more often this kind of behavior come from christians.
Of course i expect to hear differently from christians on this
but i gonna ask anyway....
Have you noticed the same thing?

is there any resonable muslim who can give a real answer for this question or most of muslim don't have good answer on Y/A . i hope i will find at least one.

1 - The quran has been written before the arabic letter has been changed so what make the arabic letters in today quran the same of what has been there when it wrote?

2- Why there is Wrong Arabic Grammers in Quran?

3- Why there is Satan words in Quran (surat el Jinn) and there is no different from the rest of Quran.

4- where is the original Quran?

This occurred to me at work tonight, that the whole "gay issue" the church is pushing is really detrimental to its numbers. Good hearted, intelligent, open minded people everywhere with gay friends, who know gay people, maybe even have gay family members are leaving the church because they know that gay people are just people, and the intolerance is not something they can agree with. The people who are staying behind are the close minded and judgemental (not all of you guys, but wait)and these people are nowhere near as much of a credit to Christ's message as the people who are leaving the churches. The harder the church comes down on gays, the worse they look, and they push away a lot more people than just those homosexuals they consider undesirable--how to get more people into the church? the answer seems simple, accept everybody unconditionally, but the church has drawn it's line in the sand .........Does anybody else see this?

Have you ever heard the saying what goes around comes around? Have you ever tried to curse a Christian? I am a Christian and I can tell ya that if you ever tried to put a curse on a true Christian I can assure you that it will come back on you ten fold. The blood of Jesus is more powerful than your loser called Satan, who at the end of time will be cast alive into the eternal fire along with you if you do not repent. Satan and his evil angels(demons) are all losers, and yes people that follow them are losers. Just curious why do you satanists follow losers. Ofering people and little babies as sacrifices to that loser is as low as you can get. Do you people get a kick out of that? Does that make you happy living that way? Anyway just curious, why do you worship a loser like Satan, after all he is only created, not the creator..

Do you feel like totally spiritual and stuff when the voice comes back and tells you how much money you owe for your food?

Do you feel that driving up to the first window is like a journey of life, man?

And then theres that feeling between the 1st and 2nd window where you have paid but got nothing....is that like how you would feel if you were good but still went to hell, y;know?

Please tell me what this experience does to you....do you meditate before or after? What do you do to prepare for this? What do you call this ceremony of yours?

some twenty months ago, i was faced with a decision and i made a terrible choice which is destroying not only my own life, but also the life of my parents and my family. this mistake which i made has spoiled my whole life and has left no option for me but to finish my life. the only way out of this quicksand is to somehow go back into my past and change my decision, to make the right choice, and this is the only way to save me and my family from destruction.

state briefly how you would recognize one. how does the confucian ideal person differ from the theravada buddhish monk?

ive sort of answered the first and second question. however, i am having a hard time answering the last one. so far i have...theravada monks are not ascribing to become great leaders and i think...acquiring knowledge is a bit different. the monks would learn the scriptures the teaching of buddha ..but the confucian ideal person would actually try to gain knowledge through mostly everything: formal education, the arts, socially, etc. i'm not that sure if that those are correct. can anyone add more to that?

the first thing i get "ill pray for you you lost soul" and such...
STOP trying to save ppl who dont want it. Do not try to convert a single pagan or wiccan here! we dont want it, we dont believe in your heaven or hell, so why would we want it?!?!

Stop acting like were helpless or sudhuman, hell, majorit of pagans listen to what jesus said more that christians. We respect others, and dont spit on their faith.

Whenever I let ego thoughts come in I become more of a loser. Whatever I say it lacks that power. For instance if I try to dominate in meetings or discussions with reasons such as I am a good orator, I totally. If I do it without any bad thoughts just let it go and start the conversations, the words just flow whatever the context I am in. This has happened so many times that I am totally agreeing with what philosophers of the past have to say. Ego is the root of all evils. But problem comes when people deny that point. I have put this question to people personally. But they don't seem to agree. More surprisingly even general sciences woouldn't accept things such as ego, mind etc.
Do you see the same or am I just delused?

I have a question. The book by Gavin and Yavine frost "The witches bible"
rejected as the "witchcrap" book by most all covens (even my own) whats your viewpoint on it? its monotheistic beliefe system goes against all wiccan teaching and since wicca is pagan, and the "witches bible" says wicca is not pagan...what is your opinion on it?
