Did you know that Paul's letters in the Bible contradict Jesus's teachings???
Here's an example of the contradiction(s)

Paul's teaching on the issue of SEX:

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 (New International Version)
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Jesus' teachings on the issue of SEX:
Matthew 21:32 (New International Version)
Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you. For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this.

MY POINT IN CASE: is because know I know that Christians may condemn others & its NOT from Jesus at all!

AquaSharp:
Paul is not one of the original disciples of Jesus but he became a follower later in life and most of the Bible's New Testament letters/chapters belong to him and his followers...what Jesus taught about the 'Kingdom of God' during his 33 odd year tenure of physical life on Earth contradicts the condemn and rather harsh tone that Paul and other of his followers have: I think maybe that Christianity is still a mystery to me...but I'd rather lean on Gnostic teachings or other sources but still remain true to the origins or basics of Jesus' testimony and life

Alright already I made a mistake by taking it out of context...sorry ;(
I tend to get excited over new ideas...

****?!! I'm still confused? Cause sometimes I think 'well Christians are so quick to condemn others, and Paul's letters fit the bill' Maybe these Christians are taking Jesus' teachings out of context, regardless I think Jesus and God are very merciful (of course there needs to be remorse and a change of action)

No MAN can say what Jesus's intentions were, for he does not know. We know what was written of and about him through the interputaions of other MEN who lived in the same times and followed him. Everyone will walk away from the sciptures with his/he own interpretations. We as Christians should not condemn someone else's views just because they don't line up with ours. I do recall a scriptures giving direction not judge. For the young man who posted this, seek your own understanding of what is said in the bible.

This is not contradiction even if your so called book says so. The meaning of what Jesus Christ said is the sinners that know they are sinners will repent of their sins and come to the kingdom of God. While those who justify them self will keep on justifying themself with their sinful thoughts.

What Paul said is, if the sinners are not repenting of their sins they wont come to the Kingdom of God.

Try to understand the meaning first.

Somebody said here paul was not a desciple of Jesus Christ and later came and found christianity.

There are 4 Gospels written by Mathew, mark,Luke & John.
Among this John was the only one among the 11+1 desciples.

Why don't you believe the Chapter 1 of John's Gospel?

There were three desciples whom Jesus Christ always took along with Him. Peter, James and John.

There is no contradiction...

You assume that the prostitute remained a prostitute. They obviously believed and followed. They became new creatures. A believer doesn't wantonly keep committing the same sins over and over again. A true believer is changed. There is no contradiction at all. Of course the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of heaven....unless they believe in Jesus and as such they are forgiven. They are know longer wicked, but become children of God. They are new creatures, with new thoughts...not the same old wicked desires.

Furthermore, Jesus was talking to the chief priests and elders in Matthew 21:32. They were unbelievers! He was sticking it in their face saying basically, look, these lowly harlots will enter heaven before you! Why? Because the harlot believed and were led into the light and away from their former wickedness. He is saying the worst sinners will inherit the kingdom of heaven, if they believe, and part of believing is turning from what is displeasing to the Lord and doing your best to be pleasing to Him. That is why Jesus forgave the prostitute and told her to sin no more.
He who thinks he will be first, will be last....

*edit* I agree with you that God is most merciful. Jesus is God, maybe that will help explain His word to you more fully.

I don't agree with that being a contradiction. Paul states in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that the immoral, etc shall not enter the kingdom of God. In Matthew 21:32 Jesus speaks of prostitutes and tax collectors entering the kingdom of heaven. The next part of that speaks of John having shown the way of righteousness. John's message was to repent (Matthew 3:2 - "..repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand"). Repentance is a turning away from sin.

Jesus was not saying being a prostitute, etc was ok, but that if you repent from your sins He will accept you. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 4:17 - "..repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near". The way to salvation is accepting Christ as Lord and turning away from sin (Acts 4:38 and John 1:12).

What Paul was speaking of in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 was those who did not repent from their sin and had not accepted Christ as Lord. No one can make amends for sin through good works (Gal 2:16), so no matter what you were doing before you met Christ, if you ask Him to forgive you, accept Him as your Lord and Saviour and then with His help turn away from sin, He will forgive you (1 John 1:9). And perhaps some Christians may condemn prostitutes, etc, its not right I agree. As Christians, we present the gospel message and not judge others, for we all need Christ (Romans 3:23 and Romans 6:23).

LOL! Taking the word out of context are you?
I think you ought to read about 10 verses before and after.

9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

But read on...

11And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

stop taking things out of context and just read it.

Jesus said in the verse that you quoted that the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed.

John 3: 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

In this present time Jesus is the savior of the world but he's coming back as the judge of the world. Those who are found in him will not be judged. We are found in him when we hold onto the whole gospel not leaving anything out.

No contradiction. Jesus said that the tax collectors and prostitutes "believed John." Well, John preached repentance, so if they belived him that means they repented. Paul is referring to un-repentant sinners in 1st Cor 6:9-10, but in verse 11 he says to the belivers " and such were some of you, but you are washed.." So Paul affirms the teaching of Christ, that if a sinner repents and trusts Jesus, they will be forgiven.

Did you get to the part where it tells you to be saved from all this by repenting your sins to God and to accept Jesus as your savior? Most likely not or you would have added this wonderful news! Do you know why Jesus died for us? I bet not! Do you know that most prostitutes and thieves are the ones who go to God the most because they are the most sorry for their sins and are so down on luck! The rich think they have everything and think they don't need God. This is why Jesus said this. Read and study before you talk.
So many are ready to say "Hey everybody look at me!!! I just found some wrong stuff in the Bible!!! WOO HOO!!!"

Actually before you post this question you should understand what the sciptures mean. What Jesus meant was no matter how sinful a person seems,he/she can enter God's kingdom if they repent and have faith in him. Paul did not condemn,he just states that people should turn away from sin before it's too late.

Case in point* I imagine he could have meant those living in sin such as those would not inherit the kingdom of God. I wouldn't be so quick to say it is a direct contradiction without a formal education in such things.
