I personally think it's way behind the times, but what do you think?

Who is the Pope? A Bible study will reveal that he has absolutely no authority on earth whatsoever and the Catholic Church has no right to even exist let alone dabble into the private lives of married people. The only ones who would listen to him are the people who have not taken the time to study the Word of God for themselves and realized that all men are accountable to the Lord Himself and not to the Pope. Did you know that the Lord will destroy the Catholic Church during the tribulation for the reasons given in Revelations Ch.17 V1-9? Knowing this then why would any one of sane mind listen to a religious leader whom the Lord has condemned?

Catholics don't have to agree with every word that drips from the mouth of the Pope...having said that the Pope has also stated that a male prostitute using a condom would be the first step toward responsibility. The Pope's point about condoms is that wearing a condom doesn't make promiscuity ok.

I think it is more appeasement to the masses. The traditions of men has twisted and watered down the truth so much so as to be barely recognizable. If you think something like this is a favor you would be mistaken. I'm not just talking about this condom issue, but a 1,000 others as well. I say to all who proclaim the gospel of the Lord: speak the truth or be silent.

Well I think all churches are behind the times. I think the hierarchy of the Catholic cult or any cult that has been to AIDS ridden Africa and preached against condom use should be convicted of mass murder.

The ban on condoms is relegating millions to death in sub-Saharan Africa and Third World Countries ravaged by AIDS. The sooner they lift the ban, the better.

You have been misinformed.

The Pope is doing no such thing.

One of the Cardinals may have said something that was misconstrued, but Cardinals don't speak for the Pope, and the Pope himself never made any such statement.

Condoms fail about half the time anyway.

It doesn't matter what the pope thinks because he's only human. Its what the bible says. As far as I know, the bible is not against it so its alright to use condoms.

It's about time! The Catholic church should have done something about this decades and thousands of lives ago!
