I hate how they say bad things about the NIV bible, but then if you hear what they have to say about the NWT Jehovah's Witness bible you'll find that they say that the NIV is actually ok to use. There is some crazy things on there about the NIV bible that are conspiracy theories. True the KJV bible isn't that hard to understand, but people don't talk Elizabethan English anymore. We have better English bible translations nowadays. Shame on them. You have to understand that my church uses the NIV bible and we are just fine. I feel that both the KJV and NIV bibles are the best English translations .That website lied about what they said. Liars Liars Liars. Shame shame shame.

This is an very interesting question. It would take a lifetime of study and research to cover the writings of all listed. This is one document I have always fond historically correct concerning Christians. In my opinion, there is little doubt that Jesus was an actual person. To believe or not believe He was divine is a matter of faith. This is from the writings of Tacitus documenting events that took place after Rome burned. "The Annals" By Tacitus Translated by Alfred John Church and William Jackson Brodribb "Consequently, to get rid of the report, Nero fastened the guilt and inflicted the most exquisite tortures on a class hated for their abominations, called Christians by the populace. Christus, from whom the name had its origin, suffered the extreme penalty during the reign of Tiberius at the hands of one of our procurators, Pontius Pilatus, and a most mischievous superstition, thus checked for the moment, again broke out not only in Judaea, the first source of the evil, but even in Rome, where all things hideous and shameful from every part of the world find their centre and become popular. Accordingly, an arrest was first made of all who pleaded guilty; then, upon their information, an immense multitude was convicted, not so much of the crime of firing the city, as of hatred against mankind. Mockery of every sort was added to their deaths. Covered with the skins of beasts, they were torn by dogs and perished, or were nailed to crosses, or were doomed to the flames and burnt, to serve as a nightly illumination, when daylight had expired".

Edgar Cayce (best medium in American history) channeled information on Jesus and this was put into a book, "Edgar Cayce's Story of Jesus". This includes his early years, lost years, and travels abroad (Egypt, Persia, India). The Apocrypha is the material which was derived from Jesus' teaching yet was edited out of the Bible. It was, apparently, too Holy Spirit-based and empowering towards women to be included. But, that is too much to get into. Good luck.

Definately not a satire site

What you would probably call a Christian Fundamentalist site or Right Wing Christian.

I can see a lot in there that would freak you out

Very much the "fire and brimstone" message as opposed to the "grace of God" message

I've noticed you're a witch, Ravenhawk. No wonder you find the site offensive, because it speaks the truth about your depraved religion! Well, that site still stands today, and I, as a Christian, fully support David, who runs it!!! Let there be light!!!

Just curious, you all say that that site is of actually hard core Christians, but what is it that you can point out about what they are saying is what's wrong with actual Christianity and what Jesus represented?

Looking at it at first, I really thought it was satire. But eventually I realized that it wasn't, unfortunately.
