... that Zeus is actually the one true god, and that you have been mistaken? What sort of proof or reasoning would you require?

I don't mean this as an insult. I just want you to consider it. Because whatever your demands are, I'm sure they're very close to what we atheists would demand of you, and your god.

Think it over. Consider this when you attempt to discuss your religion with us...

This is a serious question. I have had 3 near death experiences. So I know there is a GOD. I am just curious if there are others that may not have believed in GOD before near death experience that have had their mind changed and life changed due to it?
Please no stupid answers. If you don't believe in near death experiences you will one day. But I am not here to try to convince you of it. I am just curious of how many people who had their life changed. I have always believed in GOD but more so since these experiences.

If prayers really work, we should able to easily measure and therefore demonstrate that people who pray for something vs people that simply express their desire for something would get more of those asked for things. So you have people who pray and then you have other people simply write down that they want the very same thing. Those that pray ought to have a higher percentage of wishes fulfilled.

..contributed to the deaths of the five women in Ipswich? Maniacs like this will always be among us unfortunately (some no doubt religious zealots), but the vulnerability of the these women on the streets will always make them an easy target. And before the 'god squad' pitch in with their facile moralising as in 'the wages of sin are death' etc, I would remind them that it's attitudes like theirs that have condemned these women and others to a cold, lonely and grisly death. I feel should you come on and respond, it would be appropriate to show contrition and humility rather than the faux moral outrage and abuse. No doubt the decent secular community will judge you by your replies. I think any attempt at abuse would rightfully be construed as condoning of and indeed complicity in the acts.

Come down to

"Is Not!!" "Is Too!!"

Since neither side has irrevocable, harcore, tangible proof. Debating certain individual practices of faith, when to go to church, baptism, communion, faith or works, christmas, Jesus, why argue?

Christians, Why do we continue to debate with atheist who are not going to change?

Atheists, Why do you debate with Christians who are not going to change?

We believe what we believe, for whatever reason, so is the argument simply petty? Why do you participate? Fun, to learn, to grow, to antagonize.......?

I fully, totally, completely believe in Pre-Destination. What do you think about it? Do you believe in it? If not why, and please support your reason why you don't.

If you answer " Becuase it's crap" or something similiar to that, you will loose all hope of getting your ten points. May the best answerer win.

I come from a Chabad background, but I not longer observe Chabad customs. How do you suggest that I find a girl on the same or similar religious level? I think I want to meet a girl who has "fryed out."

Where God gave adam and Eve all theese good trees to eat off of,but the tree of the knowledge of good and evil stay away from. Why is the one evil tree more desirable than the many good trees.
Same is true today,God has given us beutiful people of the opisite sex;but people want the abominable same sex to sleep with.He has given His word;but they want the evil false doctrine; He's given abundance for everyone to have;but only a relative few prosper; He said to honor dad and mom;but we do whatever we want to;We had a grand balanced world;but now things are unbalanced and not that far from destruction; He gave us His Holy Spirit;but some oddly choose to worship Satan and his demons;and Jesus died on the cross for our sins so we would have life eternal;but many reject the gift of salvation and choose the road to the lake of fire.

Why is evil and wickedness more apealing to many more than good, holyness, and righteousness?

All theese good trees, but many pick the few evil ones. Why?

He gave us intelligence, yes. But He gave dogs the ability to sniff and even lick their urogenital area, which I'd find far more rewarding that being intelligent.

Why, oh why?

prophet are full of instances in which Mohammed condemns the action. The specific punishment for the act is to burn in hell and to be forever in the act of dying by means of the same instrument that was used. Even when one of his bravest warriors was severely wounded in battle and hurled himself upon his own sword to end his suffering, Mohammed declared he was damned.
So, my question is, what is the theological loophole that the extremist Islamists are using to tell the suicide bombers that they will indeed make it to heaven? If there is none, then is it simply a matter of money?
