I just saw that commercial for the United Methodist Church. Will they accept me if I walk in naked?

Being that churches don't suddenly obtain open hearts, minds and doors. It can be understood as a process of "acting as if..." they did or becoming so. With that in mind I'm sure that they'll accept you although expect a few giggles, snorts and stares. Try it out this Sunday and lets us know how it goes!

No, although Methodists have an open door they are not idiots that let people who don't obey social norms or decency laws act anyway they want. They may let you walk in that way but the guys in the little white coats will be coming to get you

Honestly i do not think you would walk in naked to work or school out of respect the same concept applies to church. What they mean is that they will accept you as you are from whatever culture, religion, sect, race or country you are from. Its a long sentence describing unity. All together for one purpose to praise God.

I would not recomend the UMC naked or otherwise... but some of their congrigations might... It would be quite rude of you to visit any "church" naked though... I am the greeter at my church and I would first offer you a blanket.
