Because we're not perfect. Even with the love of Christ in our hearts, there's going to be a constant struggle between "right" and "wrong."

Don't worry, you're just human. Jesus doesn't expect perfection. He just wants us to try. The fact that you ask this question means you're trying.

God never expected you to stop sinning and wear a big shiny halo over your head. From what I have read and understand from my bible, the reason He sent Jesus was exactly because He knew you were totally imperfect and needed divine assistance.

If there were the slimmest chance that you were going to be 'the ideal', Jesus would not have come; it would not have been necessary. You would have been just right for the job.

I have been there, so I understand quite well what you are thinking. Don't beat up on yourself, He knows all and sees all and yet, He loves you still, just as you are.

If you keep making efforts to do your best, though you will not always get a full score, He would recognize that you sincerely desire to be a better person and He knows precisely how to deal with the situation.

We are the ones who do not forgive one another, who elect ourselves 'judge and jury' over this and that, but in the end, we all will know what God has to say when He speaks.

Just do your level best and leave the rest to Him. He is looking at your heart (spiritual heart) and it is what He sees there that matters most.

We make mistakes in life. You have to just hold on. Temptations will come all the time. I love Jesus and I still sin. The thing is when you are saved you don't practice sin. You are no longer bond by sin. If you keep "sinning" every day, you might need to pray more and read your Bible more. This works for me.

Read - The Good news, the Gospel, the new Testament. It's simple: LOVE
Then you will understand and work at not sinning and understanding why Jesus came and how much he loves you and I.
Merry Christmas and God Bless!

Because "sin" is a man made concept invented by people who want you to feel guilty about your natural urges and needs.

Look at the things in your life that you consider to be "sins." Aren't they things that are perfectly natural for you to do? Apparently they are, or you wouldn't do them.

Don't listen to anyone that tells you that you are wrong for living your life in any way other than the way you see fit. This includes priests, pastors, and other scum that want to have power over you and your life.

Have a look at this great website www.exchristian.net

It's full of stories of people just like you who've kicked their Jesus addiction and are much happier now... :)

Because you have free will and you are here in the material world. You are also not very smart, and prone to making mistakes.
Try to love God more--- and be kind to His children in all kinds of bodies.
How do you define sin, anyway? To me, sin is consciously and selfishly causing harm--- to people, animals, and even the earth.

Jesus chose to sit with sinners because he knows we need his help. It's our inherited imperfection that drives us to sin - Romans 5:12.
