I'm desperately trying to hold on to God and I'm even changing my religion cause I think I'm losing him. I am...or I was, a Christian but I started rebelling and losing my faith. I never liked what the Christians did in the past, they changed the Sabbath and the foundation is wrong. But now that I am an adult I want to change and get closer to God but I don't know how. I think Christianity was pure before the Romans filled it with Pagan filth and I do not want to be part of that. I don't know what to do, I'm losing God and I need Him...........................I'm LOST and I need to find God now or I'm going to lose myself.

In our war-torn, fearful world, it's important this time of year to remember those, alive or divine, that love and care for us.

Anybody have any nice stories about something that happened to you? Doesn't have to be holiday or religious related, but it could be. :)

Happy Holidays!

and find healing. Have you done this? does it help?
Please, fellow brother and sisters in Christ--advice. Have you confessed and had it ruin a relationship? I would confess to a friend. Not about her, or anything to do with her, just something I struggle with. What do you think?

A lot of Christians believe this. I am a Christian...but if these books were from God, I wouldn't mind some sort of evidence. I was told at the Council of Nicea, a lot of the books that contradicted the Gospels were burned. I was told there were a lot more books than 66 and it was up for some HUMAN popes and bishops to decide. Did God work through them? Or did they just guess?

Is Islam a good religion? I read about it a little and I like it. It's beautiful. I'm a Christian but I don't agree with it, I was born in a Christian family but now that I turned into an adult and I could do whatever I want and that is to convert to Islam.

This War on Terrorism began from 9/11...then switched to Iraq where they are still searching for WMDs whilst conspiracy theorists suggest this was about control of oil. Yet the other side say it is an attack on Islam. Where do you stand?

He wasn't the first god, there were gods 10,000 years before Jehovah, jesus, etc. He isn't the ONLY god, there are thousands of gods if not more. God certainly isn't a proper noun, it's not his first name or anything. Why do people insist on this?

FREEWILL is FREE! It is without coercion, without threat of death, without creation(we didn't CHOOSE when, how, where, we were born or how we were treated after),etc. God cannot KNOW A PERSON before they are born, having MADE THEM who they are, and then say.."You have freewill." What? God wanted little playthings, if you believe in god of the bible. He said so himself, man was made for his pleasure. MERE TOYS, people! How does this imply a freewill?? What created device has freewill?

You can learn more about any given religion in the world by reading on-topic books about it, rather than reading that religion's holy book.
