Funny, but most don't make the connection between religion and culture.

As it stands now, none of what we know would exist without the culture that has come from the religions surrounding history.

Would we, ourselves, exist...odds are, changes in history would have severe changes in potential couples meeting and such...so again, doubtful the people we know would exist either.

Good question. Probably not the United States, since immigration here was driven largely in the beginning by those seeking religious freedom. Additionally, the phenomenal growth and success of the US is largely attributed to the "can-do" Protestant work ethic of America.

Would there be a me? Probably. But I probably wouldn't be living where I am or enjoying the freedom that I do.

In my opinion, I dont think we would exist without a Religion.

There really is only One God and God created the Heaven and Earth. Because of peoples lack of faith in the unseen God people created other religions which cultures stemmed from.

Religion and culture are not the same thing. However, take away the Christian influence in the culture and you would have a very different America. (Possibly one that is smart enough to teach sexual education to its children and is too smart to waste time and effort trying to block gay marriage). And I yes there would be a me.

Um... yes. Definitely. People wanted freedom. Religious freedom, sure, that was a big thing, but I seriously think there was more involved than just religion.

For me the US only exist BECAUSE there is no real religion and there is no American Culture.

What religious movements there are in US are bigotry and hypocrisy. As for Culture ???

Probably wouldn't be a united states because there would have been no need to flee Europe. But then there would have been no slavery and the Native American Indians wouldn't be so scarce. There probably wouldn't have been a me because my parents probably would never have met. But I do think the world would be a better place without so many Americans in it.
