He gave us intelligence, yes. But He gave dogs the ability to sniff and even lick their urogenital area, which I'd find far more rewarding that being intelligent.

Why, oh why?

I personally love my dogs that I have. I almost got hit by a car on the highway because my dog ran across the street to get my ball. People who abuse animals are worthless scum picking on an animal that can't fight back because they're life is so pathetic and have to take it out on something that will take it. If an animal abuser shoved humans around like that they'd get smacked around 10x worse. It just all depends on the person. Some people just shouldn't have dogs.

God does love animals more than mankind.

Because, if God is everything people say he is cracked up to be then he would hold those who know better responsible to a higher degree for their actions or inaction. People do things beyond the scope of their inherent human disposition. Animals, do not.

If you believe in God then you must believe in his teaching, among them, the fact that he will smite you out of existence, and has done just that. Did he smite the animals out of existence?
No. Did he smite people out of existence? Yes, but for one righteous man. Only one. Had he been able to save the entire population of the animal kingdom he would have. He was persuaded to save man, he was desparate to save animals.

When God created humans, I think He thought of us more highly than the animals. It just goes to show how appreciative you are of being highly favored of God. I mean He could have made you a dog.

That is silly but funny. Really though I think God made wonderful wonderful furry dogs for us to have as an example of unconditional love. He is taking care of several furry friends of mine for me now as they have passed over.

If I were God, I would judge you!

From your example of human intelligence, I would definitely consider animals as being more worthy of love.
