... that Jesus Christ preached a religion of tolerance, kindness and inclusiveness, and yet the majority of the religious who post here tend to spew streams of hatred and vengefulness?

It seems really odd to me that while the main religions are all the same in that their founders tended to preach a gentle philosophy, yet their adherents tend to act in such a way that to me they seem to embody evil.

Does anybody else find this really strange?

Geneticist Barney Maddox reported from a study that science has now quantitated that a genetic mutation of as little as 1 billionth (0.0000001%) of an animal’s genome is relentlessly fatal.

The genetic difference between human and his nearest relative, the chimpanzee, is at least 1.6% Calculated out that is a gap of at least 48 million nucleotide differences that must be bridged by random changes. Any random change of only 3 nucleotides is fatal to an animal.

Genetic mutations on fruit flies in laboratories have crippled the flies that was experimented on rather then changing their physical and DNA structure to evolve them into something better.

Is there any proof that DNA can be change, or evolved into something else? And does this put intelligent design in more of a positive light then what was first thought to believe?

This is a direct quote from someone on this board. I'm not allowed to say whom because that's apparently a "violation". Anyway, here it is;
"Apparently you ignore facts, evidence and science presented by creationists."
What I'd like to know is, WHAT facts or evidence or science has EVER been presented by creationists? Trust me, there isn't any. And the vast majority of people who claim to be scientists and creationists at the same time got their "degree" from a diploma mill. I could buy a PHD for my cat from one of these places for $300.00 bucks and it would mean the same.
Yet people still think Ken Hovind, and people like him, have real credentials.
Trust me, anyone claiming what this idiot claims would be laughed out of any real university in seconds.

But hey, if you do have credible evidence or science that supports your claim of creationism, by all means, post it.
Just imagine the fame you'd get. You'd be the first in history to provide such "proof".

Rather than "Merry Christmas?" How about "Seasons Greetings?"

I don't care if anyone wishes me a "Merry Christmas, a Happy Hannukah, a Kwazy Kwanzaa, a Terrific Tet, or a Solemn and Dignified Ramadan" as Krusty the Clown would say.

in the early years of the united states, we were a god fearing country, which helped us become as great as we became, since we took the bible out of school and trying to take in god we trust off our money, we have sunk in our morals and our culture ways that have made us so liked by many nations in the world!

Hello, I'm from Germany and I want to know if there are any clothing rules/regulations for hindus, because I must give a lecture on hinduism. I searched about it in the www but I didn't found something. Besides I think that answers from hindus are better ;-). Thank you very much!

You do not have to go to church, just contemplate that we all can reach that ultimate state of enlightenment ourselves.
