I read a story in the newspaper today that made me feel sadness and anger: a 14 years old girl was raped by her father, who had been done that for 3 years, and now the girl is pregnant. The girl's mom didnt know what her husband did when he got drunk (that's what she said) and the man had told the girl that if she said something about the issue, he would kill them all and kill himself, and that's why this horrible tragedy hapened for 3 years to the poor girl.
My cuestion is: now that this girl is pregnant with his son/brother...do you think she should have the baby? I am catholic and I have always been against abortion but this made me doubt, I mean, this poor girl lost her childhood, her happiness, everything, and this baby will only be the conection with all those horrible memories... dont you think?
All opinions are acepted, I just want to know what do religious people say, and what would catholic chruch say.

I have been apart of church my whole life, but like many i have strayed away!So I went to this church encounter this weekend ask for forgiveness of my sins and is living my life for God. I am not cursing, judging people, having impure thoughts, sex and e.t.c. But now my friends say I am taking it to strongly and need to slow it down. So instead of stopping all my sins i have been doing they want me to take it a step at a time, either i am all for God or not at all. there is no step at a time stage!!!!!

I agree completely that killing in self defense, or in defense of those you love is acceptable if there is no other option but why do people think it is OK to attack another country and kill innocent civilians...why is that OK, or any different than mass murder.

So many religions, so many creators, gods etc... Wouldn't it be easier if there was a creator for him/her/it to have one single all encompassing understandable religion, in order that everyone who wanted to could worship him/her/it could do so in exactly the same way and save all the arguements as to whose religion is 'the right one'?

What would you call someone that has no faith in anything, but doesn't consider themself an atheist? They don't believe in God or any deity for that matter.

There are many miricles (events that defy the physical laws of the universe) in the Bible. Why try to defend or discredit any of them based on being physically possible? People often argue about genetics and incest in reference to Adam and Eve. People argue that there is no evidence for a worldwide flood, or that all the animals could not have fit on Noah's ark. But Jesus' healings are taken on their own, unexplained, statings. Why confine the belief in anything at all, for that matter, in the entire history or future of the world, to physical explaination?

I see a lot of people on here pretend to "ask" questions but actually just make ridiculous statements. Then they pick the only person who's crazy enough to agree with them as the right answer.

I just thought I'd try it too!

I have been married for 7 years. I am a Christian and I love the Lord with all of my heart. I know that homosexuality is wrong and I have never been with another woman. For the past couple of years I have really been feeling very curious about being with another woman. I fantasize about it and everything. I know it is wrong and I try to stop, but I feel like I can't. It's like an obssession. I do not think that I am gay because I feel very attracted to men also and I love my husband and love having relations with him and I have not told him about my attraction to other ladies. I just don't know what to do. I want to do the right thing, but this thing has gotten a hold of me and will not let me go!

Where are you now giving sacrifices for your sins?? You have a day of atonement, but that is not in the old testament anywhere. If the prophets spoke of the end of sacrifice, why are you so hard pressed to believe in Jesus, though he fulfilled all prophesy??

Time has to be created. If time was not created, then theoretically how did we ever reach this point? I mean we would have had an infinite amount of time, that occured before now. So if this is the case there must be a beginning to creation, and a creator of that universe. For as you all say something cannot come from nothing. Therefore something always was. This is God.
Without God nothing could exist, and nothing would exist.
Also Scientist have proven the Universe to be Not Static, which means the Universe had a beginning. This also means the universe is not infinitly large, so the possiblities of chance forming the fine tuning of the universe are 0.

If there are only two options A & B;
and B cannot possibly be true
than A has to be true
The A is God The B is everything else

If prayer works, why are there no doctors clinics where you go in and the doctor simply says a prayer for you.

Would you go to such a doctor if you needed an urgent heart by-pass operation, or would you prefer to go to hospital to be operated on ?

Who was god speaking to? WAS it Jesus or angels? Did they all look like god. Our where they all just aliens? And I hear people say that Jesus is god, so that would mean that god was talking to himself. What are your thoughts? I know this has been asked , but I am asking again.
