I have been apart of church my whole life, but like many i have strayed away!So I went to this church encounter this weekend ask for forgiveness of my sins and is living my life for God. I am not cursing, judging people, having impure thoughts, sex and e.t.c. But now my friends say I am taking it to strongly and need to slow it down. So instead of stopping all my sins i have been doing they want me to take it a step at a time, either i am all for God or not at all. there is no step at a time stage!!!!!

I agree with you 100%, it doesn't mean that you'll never sin again. But it does mean that you making every effort to not sin and seeking forgiveness for when you do. It sounds like your friends are trying to justify the sin in their life. If your changing aspects in your life that they are continuing to pursue they may take it as a bad reflection on them. They need to accept your beliefs, or maybe there not your true friends. Try to be encouraging to them without sound judgemental or righteous. Lead them to Christ with kind words and an example of the joy in your heart with Christ.
