I am a hedonist, a nudist, a wife swapper (I bet your wife fears upsetting you by making a matrimonial mistake more than my wife fears telling me that she had a 3-some today) Is it intellect? social upringing? what really creates our morals? Please, no Theological introverts, I am on on a walk towards realization, logic and revelations. Don't answer or look at my 360 if you are a ****. Introverted, or myopic when it comes to us all.

I'm Pagan, although not a very good one. I rarely observe the full moons, hardly ever do Sabbat rituals and what have you. I'll be the first to admit that I've gotten really lazy with my religious practices. But lately, I've been having this feeling that I may be practicing the wrong religion. I don't want to die and find out that my religion was the wrong one. I was raised in a Catholic household, so I don't know if this is just guilt left over from that, or if this is a genuine feeling, and God's calling me back to the flock. What do you think it is? Anybody is welcome to answer, especially Pagans.

Greetings fellow Christians!!

Wondering what all the fuss was about I checked out Sharia law at:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharia_law

And it seems basically the same as our own law. The most controversial things seemed to be:

Hand cut off if steal: Actually this is in the Bible! So I think it's great!

No alimony: Well divorce is too easy in the west to add a payout, and women are now independent, so it's causing too many problems. In Sharia law divorced women stay in the marital home for a while to get back on her feet.

Polygamy: Some may frown, but if two women really want to marry one man and the man wants two women, why stop them?

Hijabs: This is the headdresses for women. Good Christian women are chaste and help the good men avoid sinful thoughts, so covering the hair seems a trifle and it's a great fashion accessory!! Men also can't wear gold, but that's okay by me!

So.. what do you think, with all our troubles I think we can work something out with the Muslims!!

with all of your angels and saints and whatever other number of higher entities, how can you pretend to be monotheists?

to be a saint, you have to have performed a "miracle". but miracles are supposed to be a godly thing. therefore, its like you have 3 major gods rolled into one, but then also hundreds of lesser gods.

how are you any better than the greeks?

I see churches giving out food to the needy but what happened to the line about,
"Feed a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish a he'll eat for a lifetime."
So is the cost involved in education or medical attn too high in comparison to the value of the person involved?

Jesus is with God before the world was as the first creation created in the image of God Col.1:15-17[ by him all is created ]; Rev.3:14 [ first created ];

Where scriptures that say Jesus was with God before the world was?

Easy to see why he was before Abraham John 8:58; He was before Adam. Gen.1:26 God said,"Let us make man in our image, in our likeness."
Rev.5:11 The angels are vast in number and angels do not die Luke 20:34-36;

When did the angels come to be? What are the angels to God?

Is it from a book? Because there really are a lot of books out there. From personal revelation? But aren't Paganism and Buddhism and Shintoism from personal revelations too?

I know you can't prove faith, and that's the point. But that leads me to ask, what is the point?

Salaam alaikum/Shalom/Peace be upon you

Regarding the Ark of the Covenant:

Muslims do you think that if the Ark of the covenant is found that it will disprove Islam?

Personally i don't think so coz the ark contains the Original 10 commandments.

And doesn't the Quran mention the tablets that God gave to Musa/Moses?

Jews, how will this discovery affect your believe in God?

Christians, how will this affect christianity(what do you think)?

Think about it... Intelligent design doesn't account for all the problems we have, like useless body hair, cancer, and appendixes. What if there is a God, but He's more like Greek gods were and not perfect?

By the way. I used to be Kenny. Now I'm The Dude.

Why do they try to hurt people that way? For some people the thought of God is all they have left.

And I understand that believers try to force the fact of God onto atheists, but atheists don't have anything to lose, it's not going to hurt them emotionally to be told that there is a God out there that cares.

Please people, don't be hateful, and don't try to bring me down because I do believe in God.

I just want to know why.
