Excerpt: Bediuzzaman explains how the Qur'an addresses all men in every age in accordance with the degree of their understanding and development; it has a face that looks to each age. The Risale-i Nur, then, explains that face of the Qur'an which looks to this age. We shall now look at further aspects of the Risale-i Nur related to this point.

Hate to tell the "question only" readers, but sometimes you answers are totally irrelevant to the question, and make you look stupid.

They are true to themselves, and think for themselves. If I was God, (If it existed), I would want to fill up heaven with these kind of upright people, not others who are willing to be led by the nose.

Even conventionally, I've noticed that Atheists and Agnostics are MORE moral that religious people with regard to love, justice and brotherhood.

There is no need of justification. We are the reason why this world is never a good place. There is plenty of room for everybody to belive in what faith they want to believe. We all worship and respect one another. So lets stop posting all this madness and be happy.

I have heard James 1:14-16 be compared to a cavity :) lol...

James 1:14-16:
But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed(eating candy). Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin(the cavity); and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death(loss of teeth).
Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. (candy is bad) lol...

ok maybe goofy... but funny none the less..

On a serious note... How many Christians actually get rid of all thier sin and are a "New Man" in christ Jesus... Have any of you stopped sinning?

OKAY QUESTION:
I don't have much of a question I was just wondering if anybody of Jewish faith could tell me something they find particularily plaesing about their dedication to Judaism, and any positive outlooks they might have on the Israeli/Palestine conflict. I want to finish off my paper for my class at the shul very positively and it is due Thursday. Shalom

Holy books instruct us to kill people for working on the wrong day (Exodus 31:15), or saying the wrong words (Leviticus 24:17) or because they're homosexual (Leviticus 20:13), and millions believe these are the words of God, so is it possible that religions inherently breed violence, or is it just some religions, or do they only do so if people really take their religions seriously? Most people would condemn a person who said these things, so why do they worship gods who say them?

luke:
20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:

20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

20:36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

Jesus settles an argument over which husband gets a wife in the afterlife, by saying that no one who will or has married, is worthy of the "new world".

I havent been to church in a year and one of my fave verses is John6:65 Jesus says : "no one can come to me unless the father enables Him" Since I read that I have never tried to evangelize.

BUT....I believe in the Bible through and through....love the Jews, hate the sin, not the sinner....read it alot.

SO am I a fundamentalist or not?

Blessings
David
