What do you think of a 53 year old man marrying a 6 year old girl? Is he a good man or a bad man?

from what I've discovered so far, she was 6 when they were married and 9 when they had sex.

But what other do we have besides Mohammed's words or his dreams that this was from Allah?
What else do you know about Allah that would make him able of making this happen?
I don't think it lines up with what most people know inheriently to be evil.
Targeting Islam--why because I'm questioning it? I'm not targeting Muslims. You have the right to question my religion and say it's wrong. It should go both ways should it not?

Prophet Mohammad CHOSE not to marry her until she reached the age of puberty. This is age when a girl was considered to be a woman. She was obviously more then 6 at that time. If Prophet Mohammad was so bad then why did Aisha chose not to marry anyone else after he passed away? Through Aisha we got so many hadith but not even one is negative about him. Now please remember that Aisha was very intelligent and considered to be a scholar of scholars as it is said she taught more than 88 scholars. One should look at the big picture with an open mind and inshallah they will see the truth.

I do not think this is bad. I am not a muslim and neither do I follow Islam. The problem with Americans is that they boil all relationships down to sex. Ofcourse its creepy to imagine a 53 year old man having sex with a 3 year old or whatever. But there are so many possibilities of the sort of relationship between the two. Now, in the same situation, if the older man would have taken the girl as an adoption, this would raise a lot less fingers as it would have been a "good deed." But this is stupid. The man could have still done something wrong after publicly making the adoption appear good. So, you cannot judge any relationship based on your personal thoughts and experiences. There is a lot more things in the world than just SEX!

Muhammad's age and the girls age are both estimated. Some accounts show her as young as 6 and as old as 13. Just goes to show how history has a factor in why the writings of the quran and Bible might not all be true.
