Scientologist believe an Evil Galactic force known a Xenu banished some evil aliens here to earth that enter in people and cause all our problems such as alcoholism and lying. They also believe you must pay large somes to their "church" to learn how to remove these aliens and as you pay more they teach you how to remove them. I don't know much about it, but they do tend to prefer that one thinks out a problem put before them. LRon hints that most people that wear glasses need only to do occular exercises to alleviate most vision problems. Though I did hear that the eating of the placenta is a ritual for them. Not that a lot of other people advocate it as well.

i dont know that they have rituals but they believe we were left here by aliens and that they are comming back, after all its a religion started by a sci fi author.
