Is it from a book? Because there really are a lot of books out there. From personal revelation? But aren't Paganism and Buddhism and Shintoism from personal revelations too?

I know you can't prove faith, and that's the point. But that leads me to ask, what is the point?

How do we know that the Pyramids were not natural phenomenon made by shifting sands and carved out by the desert itself? Or Stonehenge? Because the architecture itself indicates the architect. The design itself indicates a designor. A painting requires a painter. How then would someone assume that there is no God? It is reasonable to assume that my house was constructed by a contractor managing each stage of building. To assume otherwise is foolish. Why then do some people think it unreasonable that there is a God? On any smaller scale it is unreasonable to think a design such as a clock or automobile could just come into existance by accident. Order does not come forth from chaos. The conclusion that there is a God who created the universe therefore is quite reasonable. Faith is the creative process by which things are made, the active imagination that an artist or designer uses to produce a finished product. The scientific process can only be employed upon the finished product so scientific evidence to support the existance of a Creator abounds. The assumtion that there is no God therefore is unreasonable.

I dont believe in God just because I was raised that way. If that was the case then I'd definitely be an Atheist. But ever since God entered my life I see him everywhere. I honestly feel him flow through every fiber in my body.

I can only explain it this way. Imagine you are a 2 dimensional being. Much like the characters in the cartoon Southpark. You've spent your entire existence in a 2 dimensional world. But for a brief moment you are teleported to a 3 dimensional world and you witness a reality you've never seen before. Soon after you are teleported back to the 2 dimensional world. Now try to explain a 3 dimensional world to all your 2 dimensional friends.

I did not make the sun.
I did not make the moon and because it is round, I believe that what I am on is also round.
I did not make the plant life, animals, clouds, rain, storms, snow, sleet, hail, stars and seasons, there has to be a power that is the reason, races of people, that much power can only belong to God.
He is the potter and I am the clay, I have life by his spirit, if he would zap the spirit out of me, I would be as the frame of Adam, before he gave him life Isa.42:5; Job 34:14,15; Psm.104:29,30; Eze.37:12-14;

I know there is a God, but I can't put into words how I know this. It's the same thing as you knowing what salt tastes like, but you could never describe it to someone who has never tasted it or come across it ever in their lives.

From a daily, personal relationship with God.

The life, crucifixion and Resurrection has all been proved. The "point"..the Truth, is right in front of you.

A VAST Majority of people are indoctrinated into their parents religion when they are young. that is why religion is still around. it's because we are told to listen to everything our parents say and most things our elders say. a five year old can't tell the difference in importance of the advice of "don't talk to strangers" and "god exists".

I don't know.

No one can prove there is a god and no one can prove there isn't.

The debate is getting old. Believe whatever makes YOU happy.

hey, good question, dude...
yeah the truth is relative.
one man's food is another man's poison
and from a scientific perspective i guess we are not yet ready to prove the existence of god.

I know there is a God because I redefined what my definition of God is to mean "the natural universe". After that its easy.
