Actually its probalby church people that hurt them. Certianly wasn't Jesus.

I have never insulted Jesus. I respect your beliefs, but believe in science.

Imagine living in a country where everyone believed that Wonko the Space Gerbil was REAL. Adults believed this. It was on your money. The President even believed it and said that the Space Gerbil wanted him to be president.
How repsectful would you be about this Space Gerbil? A being you not only knew wasn't REAL (by common sense and other methods) but a belief in which you felt was hurting your country and humanity in general? I mean, as much as you are able - try to imagine such a scenario and then maybe you'll understand a little (I hope).

There is evidence that the man Jesus of Nazareth lived. wether or not he was a christ or a savior is left up to faith. either way he did good things so he diserves respect. Personaly I know he is the christ.

No evidence for Jesus existence, and if the all powerful almighty jesus did exist, he wouldn't need you(an instrinsically helpless, sinning, follower by bibical definition) to defend him.

Jesus is fictional so he didn't do anything at all and it's not really possible to insult something that doesn't exist so not guilty - sorry about that!

Sometimes I joke about it... but there's no use in thinking up scathing remarks about a figment of your imagination.
