I remember reading this in the Bible but cant remember who the person was that was involved. It was about a queen that wanted a mans head on a plate? I cant remember who it was and I also can't remember if she was able to get his head or not. Can anyone tell me who this was about and what chapters and verses?

Why do you guys feel the constant need to pick on Christians? Calling them losers, dumb, retarded... etc. I won't mention any names... Look, if you were mature enough, you would just leave Christians and their beliefs alone. This is a free country and they can believe what they want. And I don't care what your guy's answers are, I'll say that I am a Christian! And if someone put a gun to my head and I asked if I was a Christian, I would say yes because I know that I would be going to Heaven to be with God. I don't care what you think about that, it's true. I dont know if you will believe me but here it goes...I dreamt.with Jesus and the Devil. it was very freaky,the weirdest thing was that Jesus's face was blurred out and the devil was wearing a black suite and a suite case ( he looked like a regular human, but in my dream I new he was the devil ) I was in the middle of the ocean and the devil was coming at me in a canoe and jesus was walking on water towards me as well...either way the devils canoe tips over and Jesus walks away... I dont share my dream because well...it doesnt sound believable. has anyone else dreamt with the devil or Jesus ? what does this mean?

A homeowners association in southwestern Colorado has threatened to fine a resident $25 a day until she removes a Christmas wreath with a peace sign that some say is an anti- Iraq war protest or a symbol of Satan.

Here's my question:

How on earth did this happen? Jesus is the Prince of Peace, according to the Bible...why do many Christian groups and individuals see the promotion of peace as an anti-God movement? Why is protesting the general act of war interpreted as anti-Christian?

This is a real question...I'm not Christian-bashing - I am one! I just want to hear some insights as to how this sentiment evolved.

People believe that the Bible is full of error and contradictions but reject the verses in the Bible that explain these apparent errors and contradictions. Why ? Is there something in human nature opposed to the principles of the Bible ?

Well? The conservatives act like homos ******* is worse than, say, the Sudanese genocide or the fact that poor people in the US have no health care. Or at least they spend more time bashing gays than they do discussing the other problems... (ahem!) Clearly, they see some threat I don't and I would like to know: is there any reason besides the Bible implies that its evil?

The Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas pickets military funerals claiming that God is punish the military for letting gays in the military. They call this a "picketing ministry." (www.godhatesfags.com)

We should all unite against these people! Christian & athiest alike!

Even the conservative Christians should protest them because they go way beyond just believing homosexuality is a sin. They preach hatred. Vile, seething hatred. And they are giving Christianity a black eye!

If you hear about any such protests, give us links so we can go.

before i ask the question i want to state that i do not want dumb or wierd question i will report you.....im a born and raised catholic im 14 and so on i beliee in one God and that Jesus was the Messiah but like 2 weeks ago and so on i have been feeling wierd like if something or someone was telling me that God is a big lie and doesnt exist but i know that he does and that he is the Creator of us all and that he will always be with me and i will always believe in him no matter what happens is this normal like if God was putting me thru some sort of test to see if im ready to move on and if i do have the faith and love i say i do for him or something else has this happened to any of you people what can i do please take this question seriuosly thanks a bunch to the people who took thier time to answer this for me and help me

In order to get other people's perspective on some of my questions I try asking them here.

I do get a few answers from others who consider my viewpoint and judge it on its own merits. However, others simply answer my questions by rattling off your run-of-the-mill Christian Bible babble.

How would one word their questions in order to get open-minded answers or is that too much to expect from here?
