I remember reading this in the Bible but cant remember who the person was that was involved. It was about a queen that wanted a mans head on a plate? I cant remember who it was and I also can't remember if she was able to get his head or not. Can anyone tell me who this was about and what chapters and verses?

Looks like everyone pretty much covered it but just in case,
It was John the Baptist who was beheaded at the order of King Herod the tetrarch his wife Herodias had her daughter danced before the king for his birthday and at her mother's request she asked for the head of John the Baptist on a Platter, long story short She got it!

Yeah what happend is the queens daughter was a slut and did a vulgar dance. Basically the King got so turned on he said ask whatever you want and I will give it to you and the queen asked for his head. John the baptists head.
John was saying the queen and king were sinning because they were related to each other yet they married and were having sex. The queen got mad at hearing this and so....she plotted and murdered John.

The Queens name was Herodias wife of Herod.She wanted John the baptist head on a silver plate and she got it at the end.

It was Herod's wife. She wanted John the Baptist's head on a platter. She got it by means of her daughter Salome's dance at Herod's birthday party. She danced so well he promised to give her anything she asked. She asked for the head of John on a platter at the urgings of her mother.

John the baptist lost his head and I think it was to a woman. It would be in the New Testament. I'd have to look it up. Can you answer a question twice? I'm new at this.
