Doesn't the bible preach acceptance and love... doesn't it also say that our job isn't to judge, because he will do that?
My question is, why worry about people being gay, when we can't take care of our own citizens... and parts of the world hate us so much they are willing to die to kill us? Is it really that important? I don't think so!

The Bible is intrepreted in order for Males to dominate. Try the Metaphysical approach and intrepretation!
My daughter is a proud lesbian and she has never been with a male. From the time she could talk she wanted to be like her cousin (male cousin). She never liked dresses and she is a beautiful person inside and out! It breaks her heart that she and her girlfriend can't get married in our state.
Ignorance and fear prevent two people from being able to formally make a commitment!
Look at the divorce rate in our country! A piece of paper does not make the difference! However, when two people are truely commited and choose to spend their life togather... they should be allowed.
My husband thinks it is a conspiriacy by the insurance companies to not have to allow "family policies".

I don't know how strong my views against gay relationships are anymore. A remnant of me holds on to the fact that it is utterly repulsive and wrong, but part of me is moving ahead as I become more tolerant of other faiths and beliefs. One thing that has always been on my mind about it though is that when a man and woman are "together" traditionally they are facing each other (yeah yeah, there are so many different positions) whereas when a man and man are doing their business they must be front to back. This means that one must have his back turned on the other, which can be deemed symbolic of coldness and shunning. But then again, thinking about it now it could also be a symbol of trust. /shrug

The bible says to love the sinner hate the sin. I do not believe in Gay bashing at all. I do not see Gays as a threat. The word of God says that homosexuality is an abonimation to God. Most people would agree with me when I say that history repeats itself. Remember what happened to Soddom & Gemorrah? The sad thing about people who live the homosexual lifestyle is that they accept that it is apart of who they are. This is a total lie from satan himself. Every Major civilization in the history of the world that promoted homosexuality and accepted it as normal behavior fell. Can someone explain this to me?

Not really. All claims of evil by homosexuals are virtually all Bible-based: Not much real-world reson beyond the "ick" factor.
Here's they way I see it: In conservative Christian culture, a homosexual is expected to live either utterly out of sight or to live a lie (Haggart). In a more tolerant culture, a homosexual of either gender can live life openly and to the fullest without such lies.
Conservatives feared that allowing blacks the right to vote would be the end of the country. Has it been? Okay then.

Well........ I think you have it all wrong. You are entiltled to your opinon as I am mine. God is above all things and I mean all things. So if he says its wrong then its wrong! The conservatives don't act like homos either. The democrats who favor gay marriage and abbortion are the homos!!!!!!!! The conservatives stand up for God who is above all things. How is that being a homo? I don't care who is gay or not. Whatever floates your boat, but I stand up for God! You will have to face God one time and your life you only get one chance to explain what you have done. Its your choice to go either way. And where do you get off saying that its the worse thing on the planet? Don't compare gays not being able to get marreid to health care! Thats way worse then the damn gay thing. You guys just keep throwing it up into peoples faces. I don't want my kids growing up thinking that its okay to be gay!!!!!! And don't try to say you were born like that. GOd who makes all of us and who says being gay is wrong. WOULDN"T MAKE A GAY PERSON!!!!! Its a choice that people make!!!!!

its just different. people afraid of something they dont understand. my question is why christians complain about gays so much. in the bible it says homosexuality is a sin, however so is lust, adultery, theiving, greedy, PRIDE (a form of pride is going around telling everyone they are going to hell and thinking your better then them, i see this allll the time), how bout gluttony or alcoholics? those are all sins why do they not point those ones out? or how bout the biggest on in the church. the HYPOCRITES.

We have like 6.5 BILLION people on Earth.
If some gay people are happy together and don't make any kids its ok for life on Earth I think. Maybe if the relationship is good and strong, they can adopt some kids and give them good lives too.
