I find seeing people start over completely after losing everything they have and do it with a cheerful attitude very uplifting. I love to see people triumph over adversity.

It was something I learned many years ago, and is scripturally as well as experientially based, and that is that there is power in praise. The Scripture teaches that "He inhabits the praises of His people" and that "the Joy of the L-rd is my strength". On a personal basis these are not merely assertions. They are pr oven. It would be my challenge to those who practice a faith in G-d, to worship Him outside of a typical worship service. Spend quiet time in His word and in praise and adoration. Tell Him that you love Him in as many ways as you can. You will receive an uplift. Shout out "Glory to G-d" and see if that doesn't change you in that moment that you do. Sing hymns and choruses, even Christmas Carols and you will experience an alteration of your mood. In my own experience, I've gone to a quiet park and sang for two hours and was incredibly blessed on account. The power of the Holy Spirit cleansed me and I was renewed. One additional thing, is to read uplifting and encouraging articles. I have placed a link to a site which you will be able to read such material.

A good old black and white movie about times when things were simpler and much clearer as far as morals go. It does not even have to be black and white. When was the last time you watched a Roy Rogers and Trigger movie, where Triggers son gets in trouble because there is a rogue horse in the area? Wow, great stuff and so innocent. There is alot more to it than just good horse and bad horse. Things were clear. Good was good and bad was bad and you KNEW the difference. We know the difference now too except society wants to tell us different but, give that old time religion, if'n ya know what I mean.

Spell work in which I can feel Marie Leveaux helping me. The whole ritual of learning the spell, the meanings of the herbs, colors, oils. The knowledge I gain, I power and control I can feel in actually anointing my tools. It's very powerful and uplifting to feel in control of one's life and choices, to not have to answer to the norm, to know one's ancestors and other spirits are out there helping.

All things in nature. You can feel close to a higher power by being near the ocean, forests, all things natural. In the wind, under a blue sky or during a massive storm. It's like the earth is breathing around you, and it makes me feel alive. No one is telling you that you will burn in hell if you don't think a certain way, or give money, or live your life the way they say you should.
