Ok this might sound stupid. I dont live in a religious country, but I have just been talking to some Americans on another forum and the subject of religion came up. I couldnt believe what they told me, I still think they might be joking.
Do some people really believe in the Adam and Eve story and not evolution?

I'm sorry if that sounds daft or offensive but never have I ever heard of someone not thinking evolution is real let along believing something that gets taught as the 'Creation STORY' (or in this country it does anyway). Were they serious, sorry I'm jibbering but I'm kinda shocked, I'm in my 20's and have always assumed that evolution is real, theres proof of it isnt there?

And when they do not reject the Gospel they are saved right? o.k. when they are saved, they must wait untill the last day at the judgment to go to Heaven is what I am hearing but, a person that goes to Hell goes right away? Why do they not have to wait untill the end of time too?

... that the Bible is acurate? I mean it was written by men, and everyone makes mistakes and get things wrong. Its only human to err.
Do you believe every word? Would God have somehow corrected something if it was written down wrong?

I am simply curious, I mean no offence, its just when people say its the Word of God, I wonder how they can be so sure with it being written so long ago by these men no-one (around today) has ever met.
Do you ever wonder or do you trust that it is true?

Luke 12

4"I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. 5But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. 6Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies[a]? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. 7Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Christians Think That Jesus Was A Good Looking Man. According to The Jewish Description Of Jesus He Was A Hideous Monster.
He Had One Eye.
He Was Crippled.
He Had A Hunched Back.
He Had A Long Curved Nose.
He Was A Drunkard.
He Was A Sorcerer.

So How Would You Know That This Person Is Jesus? And If Je Looks Any Thing Like How The Jews Believe, Isn't That Gonna Make You Think He's The Anti Christ Instaed Of The Real Christ?

I can understand that Jesus founded a church, presumably cause he had the authority; but after his time, there came others who founded churches.
Can you pick one and tell me why, and on what authority did he do it? It better be good. I may be a troll, but I can spot phoney baloney.

She wants to wear her crucifix over her uniform, contrary to her contract.

BA said in a statement: "British Airways has 34,000 uniformed staff, all of whom know they must abide by our uniform policy.
The policy does not ban staff from wearing a cross. It lays down that personal items of jewellery, including crosses may be worn - but underneath the uniform. Other airlines have the same policy.
The policy recognises that it is not practical for some religious symbols - such as turbans and hijabs - to be worn underneath the uniform. This is purely a question of practicality. There is no discrimination between faiths.

"In Nadia Eweida's case, she is not suspended and we want her to come back to work. We have explained to her the need to comply with the uniform policy like all her colleagues whatever their faith."

BA said Ms Eweida had been offered a non-uniformed post were she would be able to openly wear her cross but had refused to take it.

So what is her problem?

Send his only son to earth to die for our sins......when he could have just snapped his fingers and everything would be fixed. How insane is it that he would have sent his only son..supposedly to earth...to be hated...and murdered just to forgive the original sin that he knew was gonna happen. It makes not logical sense. Couldn't he have sent a goat or something else...i mean if we are his children then we would have gotten the point one way or another right?

To Christians I would like to believe in Jesus (PBUH). But you don’t have anything written by Jesus everything is according to Paul and Mathew and others. I do respect Jesus Disciples but this is a matter of heaven or hell it is more than life or death it’s greater than that. One day I opened a Bible and anything that was written by Jesus was suppose to be in red color, unfortunately there was not even a (.) in red. So how do you want us to believe in Jesus while you don’t have anything from Jesus. Was Jesus illiterate? As far as I believe he was not, so why nowadays we have nothing left from him?
