Salvation and Redemption are two different things
Heb. 7:27, 9:12,26;10:10; 1 Pet 3:18 - Jesus died once and redeemed us all, but we participate in the application of His redemption by the way in which we live.

Heb. 9:12 - Christ's sacrifice secured our redemption, but redemption is not the same thing as salvation. We participate in and hope for salvation. Our hope in salvation is a guarantee if we are faithful to Christ to the end. But if we lose hope and fail to persevere, we can lose our salvation. Thus, by our own choosing (not by God's doing), salvation is not a certainty. While many Protestant churches believe in the theology of "once saved, always saved," such a novel theory is not found in Scripture and has never been taught by the Church.

Rom. 5:2 - we rejoice in the "hope" (not the presumptuous certainty) of sharing the glory of God. If salvation is absolutely assured after accepting Jesus as Savior, why would Paul hope?

Rom. 5:5 - this "hope" does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. Our hope is assured if we persevere to the end.

As God wills that all men be saved rest asssured that Satan wills all to have moral death, spiritual death for those that follow Christ and His saving teachings.

God and Jesus could have ended the whole thing. We would never have a change to know if we want any part of what was the original plan.
Adam and Eve were to be perfect in a perfect earth and produce perfect offsprings.
Jesus and all the angels were there to see earth prepared for man, then see man in
earth. The cherub angels anointed over Eden, called serpent Gen.3:1-5 as he decieved Eve, the rule was that the tree in the middle of the garden was not to be touched, it meant death to touch it. They did touch it. Adam did die in the day he sinned as 930 is 70 years short of 1000 or God's day 2Pet.3:8; Eternal life was lost.

The flood destroyed violence, but also the life sustaining earth to be made new again.
Eath had a shield that involved the heavens realm, so heaven and earth is involved and heavens angels and earth humankind inhabitants are involved as well. 2Pet.2:4;
Angels sin.

So we have a temporary life, short and full of trouble to death, and anything can happen to us at any age. Jesus being the first creation created Col.1:15-17; Rev.3:14;
qualifies to be SAVIOR of the world that was LOST ar Eden.

Heb.2:9,14,16; He has the right to destroy Satan the devil. Rev.12:6-12 to Rev.20:1-6;

1Cor.22:28,51-53 He has the right to destroy death and give life to those that will be in the new heavens with him as the first resurrected, and to give life to those for the new earth as all will be made as perfect as before Eden 2Pet.3:13;
Heb.9:14-17 Jesus gave his life to give us his word, he is going to be our SAVIOR.
John 3:16 God allowed him to be our SAVIOR.
Heb.9:27 It is appointed unto man once to die and after this the judgement.
Rev.20:1-6 [ No Satan ]; The heaven body is with Jesus to resurrect 12,13 the earthly body and in 1000 years all is perfect Rev.21:1-5, the second death is 8.
Rev.20:7-10 is the final cleansing of earth by the kingdom of the heavens Rev.3:12; Heb.12:22-24; will pass all perfect into the kingdom of God.

Consider this illustration:

A family head may become a criminal and be sentenced to death. His children may be left destitute, hopelessly in debt. Perhaps their kindly grandfather intervenes on their behalf, making provision through a son who is living with him to pay their debts and to open up for them the possibility of a new life. Of course, to benefit, the children must accept the arrangement, and the grandfather may reasonably require certain things as assurance that the children will not imitate the course of their father.

The family head was ADAM. The children are all HUMANS born since and from Adam. The Kindly Grandfather is the CREATOR who did not purpose for man to rebel. The "uncle" (who is not born of Adam) is JESUS CHRIST. By jesus giving his perfect human life he opens up that opportunity for new life. That new life will soon be realized for all who take advantage of the opportunity.
For now, we do die...but death is a state of non-existance until one day we are resurrected to life which is only possible because Jesus gave his life.

(Part of the confusion on this subject comes from the false teaching that Jesus is God himself, and the idea that the almighty God Creator himself needs to die for humans. What was lost by Adam was perfect human life and not a God's life or a creator's life.)

Hi, Jesus died that we might inherit eternal life in and through Him, Jesus never said that He came to stop physical death but only the death of the soul, the real death is the second death of eternal damnation in Hell for those who reject Gods Son and deny the Holy Spirit.
and even though we all must endure physical death we are assured of eternal life and a new resurrected body through the promise of the Lord our Savior.

Glory and Praise to our God.

He died for our sins. All sinners die. However, after the second coming the ones who repented their sins and asked for forgiveness will be risen again and meet Jesus in the clouds to go to heaven.

The part of a person that Christ recreated when we excepted Him never dies. Again a God hater is not thinking spiritually but that is what I expect.. Jim

The word "die" means "separation from God". When you have Jesus as your kinsman redeemer, you won't EVER be separated from God.

Seriously, I don't want to live in this physical body forever...

We still live in an imperfect creation where there is death. Even though we physically die, we don't have to die spiritually. That is why we believe in Christ, so we won't perish.

Jesus died to pay for all of our sins. So if you welcome Jesus into your heart, when you die physically your soul goes to heaven to live for ever with God and all others that welcome him. I have welcomed him and have a blessed life. I live to serve God and help him in any way I can. I feel good to help people.

So welcome him into your heart. And join us in heaven.

Happy Thanksgiving and God bless.
