By the name of the celebration, I assumed that it was to celebrate Jesus Christ and his birthday. Why then, am I hearing people say it came from the pagans? I don't mean to offend or anything. I'm just really confused. If it did derive from the pagans, then does that make it a non-Christian celebration? Is that why mostly everyone celebrates it and not just the Christians?

From what I read somewhere else on this site. Us and apes are the only two animals to suffer an enzyme deficiency meaning we cant create vitamin C. Is that true?
Do you take this to be proof of evolution (common ancestor) or is it some huge coincidence that its just us and apes?

The theory of evolution wants me as an intelligent man to believe my roots started as an ape. So why is it that I can still see apes today when I go visit the zoo? Isn't the idea behind evolution that one things changes into another? If so, then maybe there shouldn't be any apes or monkeys today, because they are all shaving and wearing clothes?

Someone mentioned something about a vitamin C deficiency. Can someone please explain that to me as I've never heard that. But on the other side I'd love to hear what is thought by those who dont believe in evolution on this subject.

but...
there are some things in the bible i don't believe in.
I do believe in gay marriges. [but i am straight!!]
I am a vegiterian.
I don't pray everyday...in fact the last time i prayed was 3 months ago.
I don't go to church.
and I don't always respect my parents.
and i don't regret any of this.

I understand, Paul said he "met" Jesus on the road....but no one around him confirms this. It is just his word. How is this different than cult leaders saying they "met" Jesus? The Christian religion is significantly different if all the writtings of Paul are removed. Jesus' deciples took in Paul, Paul was one of the leading anti-christ killers. Were the deciples forced to accept Paul or be killed? Is Paul really the antichrist? How better to subvert a true religion by taking over the direction. I am interested to hear from any honest views.

How can you be sure that your religion is definitely a true religion??

How can you be sure that Jesus WILL SAVE you??

How can you be sure that the Bible of the present is the most correct and accurate and according to the original Bible that Jesus preached before..

How you can be so sure that he chose to die and save you from all of your sins??? if thats so, whats the point of confessing at your church every time you made a sin..after all you already been so called saved right???

how do you feel..if one day when the Judgement Day comes and Jesus will reappear and he will say that ' why did you altered all the Gods words?? who says that i will ever saved you?? dont you know that you have to be responsible of your own act...forgiveness in only on Allah's mercy..
