Yet my previous question about my philanthropic intentions seems to suggest arrogance on my part and one even said I was a hypocrite.All I want to do is provide water for thirsty people .Simple.So why does it have to be qualified ?

And your question is what? It seems you made a couple of statements defending a former comment or question, what is the point?

For the question: I am not a Christian and I am not concerned with any legacy I may leave when I die.? You already have. You'll be the one who could made it but never did, or the one who could life for ever but never did. Jesus answered you, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

You're dealing with people who aren't rational-they are too immersed in meaningless dogma. Anybody with any common sense recognises that you are motivated by a desire to help others which is all that Christ really asked of his followers. Paradoxically you are closer to the Christian ideal than many of the Christian hypocrites and that's why you annoy them.
