Not all Jews are rich.

But those who are, many possiblities:
1) they work hard making their money.
2) They are smart, and know what to do, and thus are able to advance and be rich.
3) They are smart. Check the percentage of Noble prize winners, the majorities are Jewish people.
4) They ar smart. Most if not the majority of technology is attributed to the knowledge of the Jewish people.
5) They are smart. Rather than sitting on their behind, and blame the world for their trouble! They get off their behind and did something to make it better, hence Rich, if they are!
6) They are smart. They know life must go on, and therefore, they do soemthing about it, and there the richness comes in, not only in the bank.

7) THEY ARE SMART. That must be it. what do you think?!

FYI, I am not Jewish. :) bless them, and us all.

There are far more middle class jews than rich jews. Many jewish families in the U.S., especially those with immigrants, place a high emphasis on education and morals, which probably accounts for the percentage of jews in the corrections system and a high percentage in middle class.

The rich jew is just a stereotype from days past.

im sorry, but this is kind of a rude question. Jew are not always rich in money. They are rich in kindness, which i s a better quality to have than being rich. But the statement: "Jews are always rich and greedy" is a humungous lie, the biggest stereotype. Its awful and deffiantely not true. Everyone is their own person, it doesnt matter their religion or anything..that doesnt make their wealth. Its how much someone is willing to work to make money. Stereotypes are horrible.

First of all i am not jewish and i believe that makes me an ideal candidate to answer a questions like this. I may 've my own reservations but i do not want the same to influence my opinion.Go through the world history. The mere fact that jewish culture, language and even religion survives today is something supernatural. A dead lanuage comes live after 2000 years, a community scattered arround the globe....finally stands united as a nation, its birth as well as survival among its over powering muslim neighbours, the wars they have one, suggests that those people are different and special. Nothing of this sort have ever occured to any other community ever.
They must be the people of God. (But i do not support the killing of innocent civilians in Palestine or Gaza)
And I think you have the answer.

Not all Jews are rich.
They used to be a smaller group and they did help each other out more.
Now they are becoming just like the rest of us and let you worry about yourself and so you will see more poor Jews when they are receiving as much help from other Jews as they used to.

I've heard it too. I've only had two Jewish friends (that I can think of) and one was rich because her dad was a scientist and the other was rich because her parents were lawyers.

Maybe Judism values education and bettering yourself?

Because they work hard at it. Education and effort are cultural values.

They weren't always rich, BTW. They often arrived in a country with nothing, worked hard and saved, and made themselves something. In many places, this made them a target - and their gains were taken away; they'd move on and start all over.

An inspiration for perserverance.

guess you never heard of the Jewish ghetto in New York City. I know many Jewish families, none of which you could call rich. Some are middle class, some lower class, and some poor. The poor ones I know of refuse to use the welfare system or food stamps and rely on themselves to survive. Anyone who thinks all Jews are rich isn't too bright.

i'm rich?! thats weird, i never noticed. i wonder where my fifteen thousand dollars of debt from student loans came from then, if i'm so rich. and i guess that since i have two more years of university left my debt is not going to double after all, because i have so much money to pay it off.

oh, its nice to live in a dream world.
