Yes, it's true, homosexuality is NOT a sin - and you don't have to be gay to say that.

It's not a sin. The Bible NEVER says it is.
Sodom and Gomorrah warns again rape, inhospitality and xenophobia. Leviticus was part of the Holiness Code which is no longer binding to modern day Christians. Corinthians, Timothy and Romans are ALL mistranslations. One mistranslated word talks about "moral weakness", not sexuality. Another speaks of male prostitution, no genuinely loving, committed homosexual relationships. Romans does NOT called homosexuality unnatural. It warns against acting in a way that is uncharacteristic for each person, i.e., homosexuals should not live as heterosexuals and heterosexuals should not live as homosexuals.

First I've heard that according to Christians animals cannot sin. Glad you set me straight!
Actually, according to the Bible, the whole creation is affected by the fall of man into sin. (Read Romans 8, for example). So I wouldn't make much of the argument that homosexuality is sometimes found among animals. (Yes, I had a gay dog once! Seemed our neighbourhood had several of them!)
I don't know if it is very frequent.

Philosopher huh, you have reasoned yourself into stupidity. Homosexual animals-give me a break!. Even if it were true-that then makes it okay for you. Some fine logic you have. Some animals commit suicide for no apparent reason. Your move.
Oh!, that's right you are a philosopher-you don't really do what you believe, you just rationalize it. Rationalize=rational lies!

Animals behave according to instinct, and many things that they do would certainly be seen as immoral if we were to do them. Animals certainly do not "turn the other cheek" as we are commanded to do. And in many cases animals essentially rape one another. We are called to follow the Spirit not the flesh so that we do not "act like animals"....

God makes the rules, you do not... you know the verses from The Bible that clearly state God's Word regading homosexual acts... you choose to ignore them... sin is any act that is against the Word and Will of God.

No apologies needed, and none offered from this gay guy. However, I will offer some praise on a fresh perspective.

Imagine if those who struggle to keep ancient bigotries alive would instead help to make the world a better place for all?

There are pleanty of things animals do that are sinful to humans, such as eating or abandoning their young. Stealing the young of others, or their homes or food, multiple sex partners. stalking and killing eachother..... and so on
The difference between animals and humans is that humans have the knowledge of good and evil and animals dont.

Some animals are also coprophages. Does that mean I should be, too?
You're not a very GOOD philosopher. REAL philosophers passed Logic 101.
