Nothing about meanness is necessary. The reason meanness occurs, is due to the suffering this individual is dealing with, and this forum is anonomous and therefore certain people allow themselves to vent their anger, resentment against how theirs lives have turned out, onto the people who just want to ask and answer questions by humans. Well every opinion matters, but in anger or meanness it hurts the individual delivering this meannnn, and the individual who is left in shock or who cares at the response.

It's only necessary for small-minded, socially ignorant people who haven't grasped the intention of the website - which is to help others in need. Sounds Christian, doesn't it? But non-Christians can also be helpful and lead good lives, n'est ce pas?

Some people are just cowards. They like the fact that they can come here under the cloak of anonymity and shoot their mouths off without getting confronted.
Cowards, bullies and mean people; the unfortunate dregs of humanity.

It's not necessary but some people have poor manners and lack of self control and are controlled by their baser instincts.

when my children tell on the other children in the house , or when they are naughty etc
they are just needing some attention ...
i dont think those people who are mean are much different from children
children have the excuse of age ... i dont know what excuse these people have though

I don't know. Maybe they are bored or angry at everyone. Maybe they are having "fun". There could be a million reasons why. But lack of respect seems to be rampant on this site.

they are full of the spirit of this world and don`t know any better, and it is up to good Christians to pray for them that they may come into the light of Christ and be at peace, there can be no peace in the darkness.
I forgot to mention that some are teenagers on a wind up mission.

the only time i got meen is when ppl got an attitude w/ me
but other than that they have no rite at all 2 b meen half the ppl on here dont no who you r soo its not really necessary

It isn't, but people are mean because there are very hurtful beliefs expressed here. People get maddened by them, and I am not surprised.

youre right, a lot of christians on this site are mean. i think it is required of them, part of their religion. they dont think they are mean but telling someone they are going to hell or that youll pray for them is mean.
