The world is what it is today because of Satan. But we do have hope. God will wage war against Satan, with Jesus as the leader of God's army. Satan will lose. God will do away with wickedness, false religion, Satan & Satan's angels(demons). There will be a new heaven and a new earth. The earth will be a paradise. There will be no more death, sickness, or suffering. Satan will be locked in an abyss for 1,000 years, then let out to tempt the nations again for a little while. Then he will be detroyed.
This war is known as the war of Armageddon (Har-magedon). It is God's War.

First of all, God created this world and everything in it.
Second, who said God isn't helping to make this world better ? Who makes this world better ? We do, by doing good, by helping, by caring, by loving. God is the sorce of all this, the love, the will to help.
Someone once said (and excuse me for not using the right quote) "Changing the world starts with me". That means, if you wait for others to make this world better, that's not gonna happen. If you want the world a better place, start working. And believe me, no one can give you the will to go on doing good deeds except GOD.
So, God is making this world better. We're the ones stopping him, by not following Him and choosing to live in a world operated by Satan and run by... desires.

i think the question should be...what happened in the beginning, the reason why the world isn't a perfect or better place now? You see, God made the world beautiful in the beginning, but it was us humans who went and messed it up. If you dont' believe me, read a Bible and check out the Genesis story, in the very beginning of the book. Now why should God fix our problem when it was us who did it? It is because of God and his mercy that the world hasn't gone off the deep end yet. Now if you want God to fix everything and purge the world as it deserves to be, what you're asking for is eternal damnation because of what we've done to ruin the earth anyway. But it is because of God and his plan of salvation that we can do all we can to help better the world. But you should know that this world is only going to get worse and worse until it ends in judgment. None of this is God's fault, but he's there to redeem those who are lost and give them hope. the executor of judgment, he is. and in the end, if you're on his side, it is not this world you'll hope he'll purify, but you'll be looking forward to the world to come, which will never be in danger of inevitable corruption, such as is the case of this one in which you now reside.

The world isn't a better place simply because it was meant to be like that. Who says the world should be a fair and nice play for everyone.

Good question. God, a power most recognize as higher then the normal mentle presence. God has nothing to do with this world as it is owned and operated by Satin. God owns and operates the Heavens and when you finally die who ever you selected to place your faith in while on earth will be your forever keeper... As I understand it Faith in God was challenged by Satin, so God gave Satin the world stating he was certain the human race would continue to have faith in He no matter how bad things got recognizing the much more beyond this life. There has got to be some thing better beyond this world and my faith will allow me to share in what ever it is.

God could easily fix this place up in a second, but since he gives us free will, we make our own decisions which are usually wrong.
Who destroys nature,.. Man or God? WHo kills little babies, Man or God?Who creates War against each other Man or God? If it was u-p to me, I would say how much worse will this place be with out a God!

Who rules this world—God or Satan?

Dan. 4:35: “[The Most High God, Jehovah,] is doing according to his own will among the army of the heavens and the inhabitants of the earth. And there exists no one that can check his hand or that can say to him, ‘What have you been doing?’” (In a similar vein, Jeremiah 10:6, 7 refers to Jehovah as “King of the nations” because he is the Superlative King, the one who can and will call to account human kings and the nations over which they rule. As the earth’s Creator, Jehovah is its rightful Ruler; he has never abdicated that position.)

John 14:30: “[Jesus said:] The ruler of the world is coming. And he has no hold on me.” (This ruler obviously is not Jehovah God, whose will Jesus always performs loyally. This “ruler of the world” must be “the wicked one,” Satan the Devil, in whose power “the whole world is lying,” as stated at 1 John 5:19. Although mankind lives on a planet that belongs to God, the world that is made up of those who are not Jehovah’s obedient servants is under Satan’s control because such people obey him. Those who wholeheartedly submit to Jehovah’s rulership are not part of that world. Compare 2 Corinthians 4:4.)

Rev. 13:2: “The dragon [Satan the Devil] gave to the beast its power and its throne and great authority.” (Comparison of the description of this “beast” with Daniel 7 indicates that it represents human government, not just one such but the global system of political rulership. That Satan is its ruler agrees with Luke 4:5-7, also with Revelation 16:14, 16, which depicts demonic utterances as leading the rulers of all the earth to war against God at Armageddon. Satan’s rulership of the world is one that is merely tolerated by God until His appointed time arrives for settling the issue of universal sovereignty.)

Rev. 11:15: “Loud voices occurred in heaven, saying: ‘The kingdom of the world did become the kingdom of our Lord [Jehovah] and of his Christ.’” (When this occurred in 1914, “the last days” for the present wicked system began. A new manifestation of Jehovah’s sovereignty appeared, this time through his own Son as Messianic Ruler. Soon the wicked world will be destroyed, and Satan, its wicked spirit ruler, will be abyssed, unable to influence mankind.)

God is simply the creator he is there to bless the righteous and punish the wicked. He does not serve the purpose to make the world better we are just on this earth to be tested we have free agency god does not make our choices.
