I can remember my fathers blessing on the food word for word,but I am not religious.?

would it make me an evil fake person to recite it for dinner ?

Not evil at all...do it as a tribute to your father.

It doesn't matter if you are religious or not, as long as you believe what you are saying. We say thank you Lord for the gifts we receive. That isn't hard to say because we mean it. We're not really religious, but I am thankful to the Lord for what He gives me.
